Honestly that sounds boring. What kid wants to be couped up in a motel room staring at their parents all night? Couple that with no food[emoji848]

Our thinking is exactly the opposite. When you goto the Casino's the kids are stuck in the room and can't go no the gaming floors. If you goto Katherine's the kids can go outside and play on the grass, and there's usually a contingent of adults drinking outside so they can hang out etc..

Hey kids, go hang outside on the 2000 degree grass. [emoji16]
Spend the money on a nice place and go to the pool

It's going to be night time by the time you get back and have dinner? (pool?)

Plus after seeing the boats get all fucked up in Laughlin I don't think I could park my boat over there..

Your last point may be valid. I’d still never stay at that dump.
I don’t see you staying there instead of playing blackjack [emoji16]

I’d stay at Katherine’s with kids..

We stayed at Kathrines two Saturdays ago for a night and it was empty and boring. I think our plan this time will be tow out Friday morning, launch at Pirates, float the gorge, and eat dinner at Topock so the kids can play in the pool. Question is where to stay Friday night, just sleeping basically, and whether to launch at Kathrine's and do the basin or launch at Cottonwood. I like the idea of doing Dam to Dam but the basin in the afternoon if it is windy sucks in a 22 foot boat.

My 22’s going to Cottonwood

Just want to throw this out there but does anyone have additional parking at their place in Bullhead for my little 210 for a week after the run (Sun)?
We'll be heading back to Needles (Bigbore500r's place) the following week and I really would not like to tow the boat back/forth twice. I'll buy you a 30 pack!

I’ve only got parking for 1 in the garage and no street parking. I’m sure you want it inside as well?

Im pretty clueless on this, so just tell me where is the best place to launch and what time? I would trailer up from Havasu Saturday morning.

Thx, Walt
I'm in the same boat as you (pun intended), maybe I can follow you and it will be the blind leading the blind? LoL

I’ve got parking in the driveway and on the street. I could probably fit a 21’ in the garage next to my boat

Thanks for the offers Vic/Joker. My boat is stored outdoors anyway (under a canopy with 2 covers on it) and I'm not as anal as i used to be about it. The trailer is way over due for a make over and reasoning I wouldn't mind parking it outside with cover on for a week or so. Lets see if I even make it for the run and take it from there.

With kids - Laughlin or Kathryn's? When our girls were under 12 they liked Kathryn's the best. We did volley ball and croquet with them on the lawn, with a large ice chest very nearby. By the time they were teenagers they preferred Laughlin. Pool, arcade and teenager stuff. Both places worked fine for us. Sounds like eating at Kathryn's may be tuff. But, we'd often have just sandwiches, chips and salad for dinner anyway. Too hot to cook.

Dave, everyone knows Steve wasn’t naked at your house, hence the emoji.

I will tentatively roll with you. It's super easy. You don't have to tow to Cottonwood, you are fine with Katherine's. Of course, if we wake up and the wind is blowing, then that is another story.

I’ll go through the thread tonight when I get home and see where we are at in the roll call list. Seems like a lot of interest should be another great run

Fifty mile drive from BHC to cotton wood...17 miles on water...unless you're coming from Vegas I. Just don't gey it...my little 21 handles it just fine
