Posting this for my dad who’s selling his screaming eagle street glide. He bought it a few years back and never really got to enjoy it as it only has 5xxx miles on it. The bike has about every option you can think of including a huge stereo. I’ll work on getting some more pictures in the next day or so. Call Bill for any further questions

Wbinder are you sure about the CVO? Looks like the standard paint job. Maybe he just upgraded motor to screaming eagle stuff?
Nice bike though, I miss mine!

I’m honestly not sure, and I’ll make sure to get back to you on that. Hopefully I didn’t mess up the title. Thanks for watching out

Not to be a thread crapper, but thats not a CVO, its a Street Glide Special, you can tell by the pinstriping and larger LCD screen, it should also have ABS and a security system. I bought a 16 special this weekend with 7000 miles for $15,000, so I dont think the $29,000 is realistic. Actually you can buy a new one for less than $29,000.

And the paint, the wheels!

OP looks clean, If you just want to unload it with no nonsense, list it for around $12-13k it’ll sell. That amber whiskey is a sought after color

And the SVO bike had speakers in the saddle bags that year ;) ..........that is a SGS for sure......once you get it priced accordingly I'm sure it will sell quickly!

I agree! I know lots of guys that have dropped their touring M8’s and went backwards in age to avoid the plague.

I haven't been following the M8 very closely.........what's "The Plague"?

All the sumping issues, rocker pedestals, transmission fluid migration into the primary and now the master cylinders are failing...open recall just sent out on the master cylinder. Got my notice last month.

My M8 (2018 SGS)had 89 miles on it, mysteriously would not start. Did a quick compression test, 70psi, wet compression bumped up to 125 or so. Still way low.

Called HD they tore it down, the jugs and pistons were toast, looked like they had a hard 500,000k on them.

HD completely made things right by me with a 114 kit, and I sprung to upgrade S&S premium lifters, tappet cuffs, pushrods and a 475 cam. Bike has been fine since, went on a 4,800 mile xross country ride last fall. No issues since.

I love the way my bike looks, rides, and performs....but for $30k I should not have to worry, am I going to make it home.

My dad called last wekk, his friend in Tn just bought a 2019 CVO SG, at the 500 mile service as soon as he pulled the derby cover fluid started pouring out:eek:, so it’s at Smokey HD getting sorted out....Word is he is not a happy camper.

lol, so I have a love hate relationship with my girl

All right so after further research and info provided here I realized we were way off on the pricing. We put the price at 16,000 now if anyone’s interested. Otherwise I think it’s getting traded in this weekend. Only issue is the mileage is below 7500 making ca registration difficult so if anyone from az is lookin here ya go

Not necessarily.....check with Harley to see if they had a 50 state bike in 2014....if it was a 50 state bike registration in CA should not be an issue.....if however there was a special bike for CA then you are correct about the 7500 mile rule.
