I want one. I can only imagine how much nicer it is to drive than my '03. I'm sure the boys at Ferrari had some input.

side view looks a bit of 599, grill borrowed from Alfa 8C etc..... Very disappointed in the HP ,640,even though it will still beat a Mustang with 650.
Hoped they'll make it to 700HP on paper at least.The interior is improved a lot but weight didn't at 3450lbs. 97 GTS was 3350 .Not impressed with the drag coefficiency of 0.36 either.:thumbsdown .Guys with 2010 ACR's were talking about trading in when the Gen V comes out ,but with the unveil ,I'm sure many changes their mind now

Chili, if anything, the frame is the strongest of all year Vipers or any GT cars for the matter

The only thing looks fishy to me is the reason for double brace in the engine compartment.They didn't have that for the 600HP ACR,so the car may have closer to 700 HP than the 640 spec they admit.Like the 70's 426 Hemi was way over 426 HP! Will see what dyno days reveal.

I'm not saying it's a weak point - it's just that where the curves and angles come together at the windshield base give it that look (to me). Maybe in person it'll look different.

I do like the car, it's got some great genes in its DNA now.

If you look at my 99 GTS , it shows the hood and windshield at its base angled similar . So it's a DNA thing

I think it looks good and with the new electronis should be a hell of a car.

They deffinatley didn't re design the wheel like all you viper geeks were hoping...lol

I never intended to trade in my GTS for a new model anyway, but hoped Ralph would come out with something earth shattering. They focused more on handling of the car and am sure it will show on the Ring and at the tracks:thumbsup.

Drag coefficients are a mixed bag...need to see what the lift/downforce numbers are. More downforce = more drag.

You can bet that there will be evolutions and special editions that will bring the HP numbers up. There always are with cars like this.

Lets see. ZR1 front Fenders with big cutout. Hood line is way to low and oddly proportioned to the cab. Enzo heat extractors in the hood with and old Ferrari 575 nose scoop. Fiat front grill and Aston Martin taillights. The didnt update the Viper, they copied traits from every Euro rival out there. They should have re named it Frakenstein. Interior is a nice upgrade though.
