Thanks LF and Joker... I hope we can make it this year... LF, The whole weekend at Monster Bash I use a full tank of gas... This in includes running it hard on the lunch run and on the poker run... Estimating what you use during the weekend and what you use on the Damn Run approximately the same amount of gas or which event do you use more... We pretty much ran this last Monster Bash together so it will give me a good idea...

I hold a little over 150 gallons on board and need to re fuel for the poker runs.
This event I use maybe a half to 3/4's of a tank.
We run alot harder at the poker runs.

As of right now, my weekends off in June are the 7th-9th ... 14th-16th ... and 28th-30th.

We are good to go any of those days.

Umm hell yes Paul, I got about 10mpg @3800-4000rpm's in that boat at Powel and it holds 56 gal., I was going to use the 21RT but knew it was going to be windy so I used the 36PR.:D

Really depends on the weather. Last year it blew hard and even AJ's 33'r took water over the bow......several turned back.

No wind or storms.....you could make it in a powered row boat.......big wind and t-storms.....you need a 40'r

I never took water over the bow of my 27' hallett, of corse the hallett is built to run in ruff water...

Executive Committee met in short session today..........expecting June 29th to be the day selected.

Does that give anybody any pain where the gas gathers?

Jokers family is gone (hopefully his boat will know which side of it the lake belongs on by then) and Hank is off that weekend. Those are the only two that expressed specific dates of yes/no.

Somebody needs to 'ping' AJ and see if he's in town......

You'll be fine. Just slow down a bit, and take a class from 2FF before the run. He'll straighten you out;)

biggest mistake I see made is when people tuck the drive in when its ruff.... water over the bow

Our trip 3 years ago was like that.
That was actually when DILLIGAF was the head chair person. Since Carl took over , the weather has been great.:D

I'm not sure if it's me or the boat, but last year I was getting beat. It sure seems as though this thing should be smoother even in rough water?

After the second Tsunami over the bow last year we turned back around Cottonwood and it was a biotch getting back to Gasoline Alley for the rest of a great day. I have a 23 foot Sleekcraft and weeks later made the trip like I was in a small pond without the wind. Kiethco's in for the 2013 installment!

I would love to make it. Zero chance I could pull it off on the weekend of the 29th. Might I appeal to the Executive Committee to consider the third weekend in July?

I think I will tow to CC this year also. Finally got my new boat AFTER the DR last year but it is a "little" slower than the Howard. Will be in my South Bay Tri toon.
