Hey......that's Mr. Idiot to you Hallett Boy................
Oh sorry , wasn't talking about you !
Hey......that's Mr. Idiot to you Hallett Boy................
Thanks LF and Joker... I hope we can make it this year... LF, The whole weekend at Monster Bash I use a full tank of gas... This in includes running it hard on the lunch run and on the poker run... Estimating what you use during the weekend and what you use on the Damn Run approximately the same amount of gas or which event do you use more... We pretty much ran this last Monster Bash together so it will give me a good idea...
Are you handeling the shirt orders this year? Your design last year was bad ass.
Do you guys think I could make it in my little 21' Schiada
After the run ....

I'm too lazy to read 7 pages lol
Even though we turned bsck the wife and i had a great time. Would love to do it agsin but would rsther be boat bitches and help with fuel. If anyone has an open seat for the wife and i let me know
Really depends on the weather. Last year it blew hard and even AJ's 33'r took water over the bow......several turned back.
No wind or storms.....you could make it in a powered row boat.......big wind and t-storms.....you need a 40'r
I never took water over the bow of my 27' hallett, of corse the hallett is built to run in ruff water...
You'll be fine. Just slow down a bit, and take a class from 2FF before the run. He'll straighten you out
Something tells me this post should be in all capitals....

biggest mistake I see made is when people tuck the drive in when its ruff.... water over the bow

A dam run is definitely on my bucket list - I'd go for it in my Sleek :thumbsup
Times' tickin' brother......tick this one off of the list and bring the Sleek.....I'll take charge of Navigator and Bartender!
Way to plan ahead this year boys!! We're in for the 29th...
Executive Committee met in short session today..........expecting June 29th to be the day selected.
Does that give anybody any pain where the gas gathers?
Jokers family is gone (hopefully his boat will know which side of it the lake belongs on by then) and Hank is off that weekend. Those are the only two that expressed specific dates of yes/no.
Somebody needs to 'ping' AJ and see if he's in town......

Uncle aj checking in from ft.lauderdale
After the second Tsunami over the bow last year we turned back around Cottonwood and it was a biotch getting back to Gasoline Alley for the rest of a great day. I have a 23 foot Sleekcraft and weeks later made the trip like I was in a small pond without the wind. Kiethco's in for the 2013 installment!
I think I will tow to CC this year also. Finally got my new boat AFTER the DR last year but it is a "little" slower than the Howard. Will be in my South Bay Tri toon.

You got your mittens off long enough to type a little.
