This boat is the nicest 24 Schiada ever built. It originally started as a build for Lee and Stan as a personal boat, and was picked up by a customer mid build. Boat features a Boost Power 900, and runs mid 90's at 2/3rds throttle. It has 10 hours of test time, and one trip on it by the owner with 4 hours, whom is now building a 32 Schiada.

The boat isn't like new.. It is new. Price to build was 195K 14 hours ago. Call Lee for price - 818-778-9788

Trailer Pics, followed up with engine bay / detail pics.

Nice boat. But I gotta ask, how do you get to $195K??

If u want a built to the hilt Schiada. 20,21,22,24 it's going to be anywhere from 105-125 depending.. Add motor.

If u want a "nice" Schiada but not built to the hilt your looking around 115 with a 502 if memory serves.. (don't quote me on that, its been awhile)

40k for hull and trailer, 40k for rigging and interior, 40k for motor/drive package, for stockish setup.... easy to get to 195 when you start bumping each of those areas up.

how would that motor be on fuel? Could you get through a whole day on a tank?

Don't do drag starts, and don't jump the boat out of the water and it will last a long time. 24's are pretty hard to jump out of the water because of the knife nose. And you could absolutely go all day on a tank, if i remember correctly spudwigs 24 i/o is somewhere under 7% slip factor, it might be 4% or 5% if i remember correctly, very efficient. Keep it out of the boost and it won't eat much fuel either.

Very Efficient, you can cruise all day at 35 to 3800 at right around 50mph. We run at Lake Mead and launch at hemingway and run all the way to Hallett Beach, multiple ski runs and we end the day with just under a half tank. Sometimes we even have 1/2 tank left over depending on how much skiing we are doing. I have to pull up Aldrich wrapped up on his little 65 maha, use alot of gas to pull him up especially since he is coming in at around 210 these days. Like pulling up an anchor from the bottom of the lake.

So you go from discusing how efficient these 24's are now with the higher X and the great fuel economy to calling me out for my fat ***..:grumble:

Don't think we have ever worried about fuel efficiency, even on the days we go from hemmingway to Big Sandy and back, even pulling me around in between.....holds plenty of fuel and yes, very efficient.

What's the fuel consumption between a 525 and a 900? Seems like that 900 would sip more fuel. But then ago what do I know I'm an outboard guy lol

If you are going to run 900hp on a bravo drive you are going to have to be very careful. The bravo drives can live with 900hp, the trick is to catch them before they let go. It will only cost you around 6k to rebuild it but if it implodes you are looking at close to 11 to 12k. They will wear out so you just have to keep servicing it and make sure you do your rebuilds in time.

Looks like quite a few rubber hoses with clamps on the engine and the fuel lines coming out of tanks. I would think they would all be braided SS or at least the black SS braided hose.

Still a kick ass sled. Wish I could only afford to step up!

Truth , Ruth!!!:D

I REALLY love this boat, but alas it is an OUTDRIVE. Donnys 24 is an AWESOME boat. The Boostpopwer 24 is equally awesome in its own way, but it is an OUTDRIVE. I would love to see a 24 with a 6 drive or the new Mercury 1350 package.

Purist Schiadas are...................

V-DRIVES, period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only v-drive owners understand.

Opinion drastically influenced by 2 glasses of Mondavi Reserve Cabernet Savignon 2007 and 2 glasses of Remy Martin Lois XIII. Mea Culpa Mea Culpa.

A handful of years ago there was a 21' Schiada at the LA boat show with about 1400 HP. The guys there said it was about 190k to build. 4 bucket seats and a turbo I believe. White with some red. The sickest boat I have ever seen. I wonder where that one is. ??
