This the one that maxed out sold recently? If so, it's my neighbors old sled. Very exceptional boat

No, different boat. There is a subtle difference between the 2 and it is the placement of the "Howard Boats" logo. Other than that, they are identical boats it looks like.

Absolutely! I know Hallett makes some nice boats but after owning a Howard they are second to none. This think is sweet. I can't believe it hasn't sold yet.

These boats are what they are. Great riding family boats. Open bow walk through. I feel like they run out of bottom before they hit 80's. Just not what it was designed to do. That's ok though.

The bow space in these is way smaller than the 210. Rough water capability is similar. At speed the Howard did not feel as stable to me.

Ok. Are you going to put up an ad and pics of your boat ???

Pretty much spot on description.

This isn't a boat that you buy to go fast. If you want to go fast, buy a fast boat that handles well at speed. If you want an amazing built boat that will handle everything Havasu throws at it, then this is a great choice. This boat's comfort spot is right around 65 MPH. I love cruising 55mph - 65mph in mine. It is easy on the fuel and easy to drive. Kids can be asleep on the back seat and we can run through some good chop and they don't even move.

I sent you some pics. You said you would keep it in mind. You need a formal ad to want to come check it out? I have had a handful of pm's just from that thread. With serious interest. The first potential buyer to see it in person will leave with it.

Yes only 3. It's ok.

I am jus tire kicking and looking at my options at this point. Really not sure exactly which route to go, so I won't waste my time or sellers time other than a few ?'s. [emoji106][emoji202]

I was interested in it and had a family member check it out for me in needles and was really clean. I couldn't make it work on my end but the owner did have another very interested buyer as of Monday. He was supposed to let me know if it sold but haven't heard anything if it has.

I love these boats a 22 Howard offshore is on my bucket list. Is this the newer pad bottom version? I'm sure it makes it faster with stock power. If I did want to push the envelope on the speed threshold that these like, for me I would go with the earlier v bottom design/standoff with big tabs. Both boats above are beautiful. I remember the top being for sale a couple times before. I ponder between one of these and a 210 in an OB

The 210 set up right is a very fast and capable boat. The Howard 22 offshore is more of a drivers boat and IMO ride quite a bit better. The 22 offshore is a much more fun boat probably because it get sketchy and requires drivers input

I owned one for many years and regret selling it, handled the the Havasu chop with ease, but as said it was very much a drivers boat and was very sensitive to input and the trim tabs. I would by another without hesitation.

The pad bottom was introduced in 97. I don't get the "drivers boat" feeling with mine. I just set the plates and work the drive. I did move the fuel tanks into one down in the belly. This prob changed some of the driving characteristics people speak of (chine walk at higher speeds). I've had mine at 80 eating Parker water. This hull works very well and I've seen a few come up for sale! I would own this boat 10x over my old 210.

Is yours a pre-or post to 97?
