2002 Chevrolet Duramax

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie to the forums for the most part just like to hang back and read everyone else's threads. Fellow boater here.
Anyhow I have decided to put my 2002 Chevrolet Duramax 6.6 with Allison trans up for sale. Charcoal grey 4 door crew cab short bed 4x4. Leather interior. No sunroof. Has 230k miles on it. Just recently got a complete overhaul. All brand new injectors, head gaskets, head studs, fresh fluids and filters throughout, recently just rebuilt the transfer case for the famous Chevy "pump rub", upgraded and rebuilt the Allison trans from Inglewood transmissions, new alternator, 2 newer batteries, new idler pullies, new driver seat cushion and foam, brand new headlights and running lights with all new bulbs. Truck runs absolutely perfect, as far as the motor goes it is bone stock besides head studs, no tuner, no exhaust just a stock runner. I purchased the truck about 4 years ago from a family friend who was the original owner and put right about 20k into it. Still have the window sticker from the dealer. Not in a hurry to sell. It is a spare truck for me. Asking $14,500.

I had an almost identical truck, except mine was a 2002 GMC long bed 4x4 totally loaded

I had about 220,000 miles on it when I sold it. Mine did not have any of the work/repairs that this one has had. With all the work done, his truck should be good to go for another 200,000 - 250,000 miles...

Therefore I think its worth every penny of what he asking. These are towing machines.

Thankyou very much, it definitely runs great. My dad has the same truck with currently 390k on it. Still runs like a top.

I know, I was hoping to get a little more for it but guess that's the way it goes.
It's up on a couple different Facebook groups. Had it on Craigslist as well.

I am not joking, I had my the ad up on RDP, when I sold my truck. roughly 6 months ago.
My truck sold for $14,500... it didnt have any of the rebuilt stuff that this truck has. This is a far better deal than my truck.

Seriously, this truck should go another 250,000 miles with minor issues.

I dont know the owner, but this is good deal. These trucks tow very very well. Rock solid. Get the job done.
