2001 Aftershock

Just purchased an 2001 aftershock 21ft with a 350Mag and bravo 1 drive, looking to have the carpet removed and gator step put in and someone to adjust or install a new drive cable anyone recommend a place in havasu?

Is it a plywood floor? If so I would just redo with carpet. When I had my 23’ eagle the previous owner removed the carpet and put in gator step. They put some coating on the plywood to paint it white then put the gator step on top. The plywood would split and never looked good. In my opinion gator step only looks good on top of fiberglass and is honestly not as glamorous as it looks.

Drive Cable is pretty easy to diy. Videos all over YouTube and just get yourself the cheap indicator tool. Other wise search the forum there's plenty of threads that mention who you should go to and who you should stay away from.

Good lookin boat. I think Carpet might be a better option if it’s not a fiberglass liner. Even making a couple snap in carpet sections with some fancy logos. Saves on ripping up the carpet if the wood is still in good shape. I don’t like the way the gatorstep feels on the feet.
