20’ Schiada interior build.

I did this about two years ago for a friend here on the boards. I was just tasked with building the wood base work for the apolstry. The original seat was just one like drivers side and then a wrap around deal on passenger side, I was asked to mirror drivers side. I think Arko did the apolstry work, it turned out very nice. Apparently Schiada was years out so it came across my plate. I don’t know how Schiada does it, but this is how I do it LOL

Baltic birch plywood is unique because of its all-birch veneer core that's cross-banded and laminated with exterior grade glue, making for a superior stable sheet. It also has a thicker face veneer than traditional cabinet grade plywood.

Not sure what details you’re looking for, it’s just relief cuts and lamination based on my judgement of what I wanted it to do. 13 ply Baltic Birch was material used.

Interesting that you laminated 2 pieces on the curves....I typically just do the one piece (the first piece you did (and then once it's tacked in place, fill the cuts with some thickened epoxy and throw a layer of 1708 over it, then of course glass all the corners/seams.

How heavy did those end up being?

How heavy did those end up being?

Maybe 25lbs more than original, if it was a stoker I would have went with less durable weight saving techniques.

Tight bond III for layup and all joints, I didn’t resin coat it, but it was resin coated prior to upholstery be applied. Those bucket seats are crazy strong, I wouldn't hesitate to put some big dudes in them and bash the Parker slop of a big weekends for years. If those seats break, other shit will be more broken

i meant the under side and normally exposed stuff......didnt mean dont upholster......i am an ass, but not that much of an ass.....wife will contest tho
