And another three miles away in La Jolla...... San Diego FD has been really on top of the handful of fires down here lately.

Maybe I am just more aware since my wife had me download this Watch Duty app?

Are there normally this many fires and I just didn't know?

I wonder the same..

I remember a post where everybody was ranting about the number of boat accidents and drunk driving at the River in this era, and BoatCop mentioned that there were many more in the past when he was working the Parker Strip back in the day.

We just didn't hear about every single event with photos attached.

I hope so

At least in San Diego there hasn’t really been many fires in the last handful of years so there’s a lot of fuel. That coupled with the exceptionally dry and windy weather and it’s not super surprising.

The one by me had about 20 engines, multiple helicopters dropping and two runs by the big fixed winged boys dropping retardant. The wind was blowing away from us, but fancy La Jolla homes were at the top of hill. I think they learned from the Palisades event and hit it hard and fast. It is windier right now that it has been in many months. They stopped it at just a few acres.

Call me a conspiracy person buuuuttttt, word has it that they are calling it arson but it’s terrorist acts. According the Sarah Adams, code name Superbad, look it up, more than 1000 highly trained Al quida and isis fighters have entered through the southern border. They know this cripples Southern California when wild fires break out. More importantly taking up all the resources. Bad things coming, these are dry runs.

Sadly, it seems it's coming true. Tim Sheehy said the same thing on the #160 podcast show with Sean Ryan the other day. This is shaping up more like a terrorist attack.
