That's a damn good deal. Somebody will score a decent boat at that price even if it does need a restoration. All the guts are there if it's complete.

That looks like a hell of a deal if it's all there and the motor is good.

I turned down an offer of 12,000 for my 20 with an outboard. So, if it is in decent shape it could be a good deal. Like I said all depends on how much "restoration" is needed.

"Needs restoration"sounds expensive, especially if there's rot.

Could be a cool project for someone with the time.

I think I might call the guy and chat him up, see what it's all about and what "restoration" it needs.

Not sure if this matters to anyone here but that was Ron Wilson's ski race boat. The 83 still on the deck gives it away. Ron ran everything with this including the CSR. Did not have a full interior in it and was in great condition when I saw it last in the late 90's. Personally if I were looking for a Schiada I would be very interested in this boat if only for the memories it brings back.

I was waiting for someone to catch that. That boat is a piece of ski racing history to say the least. Won more races pulling good skiers than one could imagine!

I remember that boat well from the ski race days in the 80's or late 70's. Knew Ronnie quite well as well as his Dad, "Normie" Was named either Karon or Caron, I can't remember now.......anyway,
very fast and well handling boat. Great memories.

I talked to this guy on the phone. Nice guy has no idea what he's got. Boat sat for years in storage he said and he got it from the nephew of the owner who owned it. Not sure if that's Rons nephew. It's an open stringer boat with blue gel coated floors that match the boats blue. He e said the interior need to be redo and the gelcoat on the deck is cracked but not in the non skid.
I told my buddy lets go see it. I will keep you guys posted and will get better pics.

Barry, I know the intercooler and exhaust manifolds are Race Aero. Here's a pic of the top of the intercooler and is probably the reason the seller is indicating it as a Gentry. One can just make out the "Torrance" on the top of the intercooler which is usually below Race Aero. I am not familiar with this style water cooled turbo housings.

Depending on how much "restoration" needed that could be a good find. That lack of pictures is concerning though.

I see your point on lack of pics.However.Some peeps are unaware how vital lots of good pics are to a sale...

Intercooler and exhaust manifolds are ok, those old turbos can go right in the garbage can though :p
