Wow, what a great boat.

I don't see many Schiada's with O/B's for sale.
Would love to take this one off your hands...but my timeframe is about a year off.

Yes, my name is Jim. ;-)

These have aluminum tanks mounted with standard Schiada brackets.

Thanks.

JH4RT,

I have been lurking around RDP for some time as a "Guest" and finally created an account just so I could reply to this classified ad.

This is one of my favorite Schiada's around and in my opinion a great all-around boat. Even though the economy is where it is today, I am really surprised this hasn't been sold.

Had I not taken advantage of this housing market and just purchased a new home, I would be knocking down your door. Good luck with the sale Sir!

I'm stealing the engine off it to re-power my brother's boat so we can go back to the ocean. So, this is becoming a project boat; sold with no engine, or a broken one. First person with a real offer and cash can take it. I'm towing it to Havasu this weekend; it will be at Al's outboard, at least while the engine is being removed, and maybe for a while after.

Call me if you are interested. 805.409.0842.

Back to the top please. I really want this to go to someone on the board. This one would be so great with a 300 on it.

If you bring me $4k cash, I'll give you the boat. ;-P

That's hull, trailer, interior, fire extinguisher, dual cable steering, steering wheel, battery, oil reservoir, and whatever rigging is left for throttle, shifters, etc...

Why would you ever want to do that? Hehe...

You could certainly do it. I don't think it would be worth the money though. And the transom has a well for the outboard, so you would probably want to modify the deck.

The boat will be at Al's Outboard in Havasu for about another week, then coming back to California.

The boat will be staying at Al's for a while, as Havasu is likely a better market in which to sell it. As well, Al may be able to hook someone up with the engine they really want on it...

So, still for sale. Still $4k firm. Still in Havasu.

Yes. Correct. As of now...$4k - no engine.

Al has a couple of power heads available at his shop, and my old lower unit, so a nice combination deal could be made.

I have seen them with 300s on them no problem, even on brackets, so on the transom shouldn't be a problem.

I made the boat go 64 (on GPS) once with my stock 200. I had it raised up pretty high on the transom (ended up lowering it one hole for skiing) and I was running a 23p 3 blade prop. With all my gear in it (skis and kids and coolers) running a 4 blade 21, the boat went a consistent 54.

Al and Lou at Al's outboard have a tuned 2.0 powerhead, which would keep the weight down, and they think that engine would push the boat about 75.

There is a guy on the board, here, who has a blue one with a 300 on it, and you might ask him how fast it goes.

I don't have the $$ yet. There are some serious contenders, but no one has produced cash yet. So, it is still for sale.

5/25/2011: This is now a project boat...the engine has been removed, otherwise the same.

Price is $4000 firm. Boat is at Al's Outboard in Havasu and they have a number of engines they can install on it at great deals.

See threads below for more details:

==========================================

I have tons of receipts including the original purchase receipt from Schiada. Only 2 owners before me. New upholstery in 2007.

I'm just not using the boat. Too much other stuff going on. Title in hand, good to go.
