8 mmmmmillllion parts are available for the E bodies because of the Cuda platform. One of the most popular models.

Even the 426 Hemi slips in that ol girl with room to spare.

Nice car! I believe the fender scoop things mean it’s a rally too.

As far as year, the front bumper is missing the “bumperettes”. They were there on 72 and even bigger on 73’s. The rear bumper definitely looks like the 73 bumper though.

I’d call it what the dmv calls it. :)

Everyone is right. Your car is a 73 model, but titled as a 72, since it was built in 72.

My VW is the same, 66 model, built in 11/65, titled as a 65, everything about it is a 66 model as that is a model change year.

Brian

you guys are probably right, but i'm going off what DMV tells me

Yep I posted a thread a week or two ago about the same thing.

I own 4 pre '69 vehicles and two pre '77 vehicles and they are all outrageous. This state needs to get its act together.

California DMV has been wrong before LOL $215 registration for a 45 plus year old car and California needs more money:eek::eek::eek:

I have the "bumperettes" there in the trunk. I don't really like them though. Was going to take them off the rear as well.

The bumperettes are fugly. I would have taken them off too.

Glwts. If I needed another car I’d come check this one out.

Car is a 73. Without checking the VIN, 318 model didn't have the raised hood scoops, only 340 and up.Also, I think in 1973, engines were offered up to 360cu. The dash is a Rally with the side grill added on the front fenders. You should have the Rally wheels that adds value for the car. Overall, it's a nice car. How are the sub frames, that's a weak part of Chally's.
Bumperetts on my 72 Challenger when car was two weeks old. Look at the misalign of the twin exh tips:rolleyes:. Typical Chrysler quality control back then too:p Made s/s replacements later and aligned them properly.;)

FYI; This IS a 1973 model per the VIN, note the 3 before the plant code.
