I know the boat. I've seen it in person, I did a pump job for him a while back. The interior is hammered. But if I remember the gel was pretty nice. It's gonna need some tlc to make it nice, it's pretty rough.

He told me that he had the interior redone about a year ago, how do those hulls ride?

I have an '88. They are the ultimate riding boat in my opinion. I am not sure if the bottom is the same however. Like Ryan said, ask a professional.

It's not the same bottom as an 80's Schiada 21. The 1st gen 21' has a much shallower V bottom, totally different boat...

I don't think it's too far off. I remember it being a little dirty and grimey, especially on the engine, but all there. I didn't look at the trailer, and he didn't pull the cover all the way off the boat, so I didn't see the whole thing. At the time, like two years ago, he thought it would be worth like 30 k. I was trying to work a partial trade deal. I remember it being a project for sure, but a running project. I think it hasn't been on water for a few years, probably needs all the rubber parts redone. It is kept out doors. So, that's all I have to say about that.

As mentioned above, it might be worth talking to Billy Dunsmore about that particular boat.

The engine is a good percentage of the value of the listed price. I see that it says 75 hours,, were the engine parts brand new, he has invoices to show? There was a nice, original restored 21' Schiada at the Billy B show last February.
