thanks everyone it was a labor of love for sure i had a idea of what colors i wanted but also bill sturgis from arco helped me put them in the right place. he is amazing and a real nice guy i am forever a customer and won't go any where else. i have not got it wet yet but soon need to cruse the channel in april my 41 Willys coupe has been sitting on jack stands for over a year do to the work being done on the boat. i have missed a lot of events hear in Havasu so i am putting a 540 in it. the drag strip guys have been after me to get it on the road. that is what i love about Havasu you can drive your drag car around town!!

the ones on the first page is all i have right now the boat is in the storage unit with lots if stuff piled around it but will be organizing that soon just another project in the works i'm retired and still work 8 hours a day how did i do it with a job i don't know

It?s 1959 Biesemeyer Wrangler 4pt Hydro drag boat. I?m an east coast guy and found it in the woods of PA. We don?t have many of these ?little boats? over here. Mostly deep V?s so this is whole new world for me. Hell it took weeks just to find out what it was (it was re-titled as a ?custom? in the mid 80?s) thanks to some folks here and elsewhere. Took a few months to get it back together. Didn?t do it with some super paint job and a super expensive motor. A total backyard project. Still working out balancing the old girl but it?s a lot of fun doing it.

I had a 14' and 16' biesmeyer.. 1957 and 1958...I just read that they didn't make biesmeyers till 58???

I don't doubt that Mike, but I really doubt you can answer Greg's questions with accuracy.

Mike, as you well know there many splashes of these style boats and Greg doesn't really know "for sure" what he has in the first place. I have looked in the History book compiled by Bill Biesemeyer himself trying to help out Greg. Apparently I fell short so you now have the pulpit.

Sharp, on u-tube there are good shots and footage of 1957 and 1958 "Biesemeyer Rocket" with fins mind you. 16 ft, v-drive, V8 ski and ski racing boats. I have one!! And mine has a very unique hull design, I have never seen another one like it. They were really exparimenting with so many different hull styles, that this, to me, is the most importent thing to look at with these boats and there performance.
