Thank god for Costco gas. About a hundy fills up my Yukon XL from below a quarter tank. And that's 91, too (per the manual for the 6.2L).

I just never felt the dime difference is worth my time waiting in line. . Unless you’re there 6 am when they open.
The lines can go pretty fast, just depends which one you go to as the major difference in wait times is all due to the drivers and their inability to use a gas pump. I dont think its a dime difference but that may vary again with where you are. For me, they are a good 30-40 cents cheaper per gallon.

A couple cents difference between two gas stations isnt worth it, but real difference does add up quick.

Wish my Costco had diesel. Closest one that does has lines down the street from opening to close.

I’m installing my new 60 gallon S&B replacement tank tomorrow on my 3500 Cummins…. At $4.29/gal we’re into the $250 range
Over $260 last fill up on my 3500 diesel with the 60 gallon tank. 3 swipes at the pump.

My 2500s are 140 ish a fill up.

Driving the 2500 van last 2 days it's just over a 100 and gets decent mpg with the little 4.8 v8.

Need to drive the Tundra more it gets the best mpg but I drive it the least.

$106 for the F-150 last Friday at Costco here in Pa. $3.59 per gallon.
Used to be $60-70 before the criminal enterprise took over.

“Can’t wait” to put 200 gallons in the boat come spring. 🤮

I recall when gas was $5.00 a gallon last time. Cost a grand to fill up our top gun. Ironic obummer was Prez then 🙄. Carter president during the fuel crisis of 79 👎 I’m seeing a trend.

It costs me between 100-120 to fill up the Denali with E85, it averages about 10-11 MPG too lol.

6 bucks to fully charge my Tesla Model 3 long range AWD from 0 to 293 miles of range.

$90 to fill up my Tahoe with E85.. Just got a new E85 pump installed right down the street. I don't get the MPG (27% less) but it's also about 30% cheaper than gas. E85 is 100% American made and not getting Canada, Saudi Arabia, Nicaragua, Russia and Mexico rich. I'm good with the trade off.

My Tahoe never takes more than $100 because AMEX says so. (I know I can call but I'm lazy)

You guys are in another league than me. Driving trucks and SUV's that cost a hundred grand then filling them up $125 or more at a time. So crazy..
I got the first annual Laughlin water expo prices. 😃 The same night KISS played.

$172 to fill up my F350 with diesel. It cost $120 just 12 months ago when Trump left office. #FJB Let’s Go Brandon.

Our local pumps still stop at 70$, I usually pump my 70 on one day and pump the other 70 before I hook up to my trailer.

What pisses me off is that half the pumps still shut off at $100. Filled up at a Mobil the other day that shut off at $95.

I’d like to know why $100 is the number. Can’t be credit card fraud can it? Half the machines don’t ask me for a zip code when I use the tap function.

Not sure, but I first learned about it when I was about 10....my Dad had this cool buddy from work that was a bit off but him and I got along great. He had an old '78 Chevy crew cab dually that he'd haul a 30ft 5th wheel and a 16' boat out to the river with a couple times a year from Long Beach. He had 3 tanks in the truck and he'd empty about all of them each way. Every time he'd come out, I'd help him set up his spot and then we'd head to Parker and fill up the truck (70 gallons) and about 40 gallons worth of gas cans for the weekend...he always joked that my Dad in his VW bus probably never had the pump shut off twice trying to fill it up.

I used to ride out with him whenever possible because he had good stories and liked to tell 'em. One notable memory was grabbing a gallon jug of water out of the backseat to pour on the trans tunnel when the carpet started smoking coming up the grade out of Indio...lol.

look at it this way, with the cost of groceries up, you spend more at the store, getting more points to get more gas discounts....its a win right? lol

I have gas and diesel storage tanks, 200 gallons each. I ran them near dry hoping prices would come down but just had them filled, 194 gallons each for a total of $1385. Ouch! Well, at least that should last me a while.

Costco in Irvine is the only Costco around that has Diesel. 6:00 am every Sunday morning is my ritual.
So for me its a bit more than a Dime but I get where your coming from. Cheapest Diesel is $4.79 Arco. Costco $4.44. So .35 cents but wait there's more....
$4.44 /gal. x 4% cash back on gas Citi Card Costco cash back, plus 2% Citi cash back. $4.44 - 6% is about .27.

So actual is about $4.17. So that's $.62 a gallon difference plus the Arco bullshit .35 charge that costs me actually .70 because I have to reset the pump a second time always.

Downside is Big Rig Tractors have caught on so 6:00 am during the week is a cluster as those fuckers line up in the middle of the night. They don't seem to be an issue on Sundays. Costco is limiting them to 35' so they just disconnect in the parking lot.

When we aren’t having to tow the boat to the ramp these are my energy costs to get back and forth to the river in the Tesla from OC. A Vegas trip in their too. One Supercharge stop in each direction, then charge at the river house for pennies while there. Had an Escalade with the 6.2 before the Tesla purchase last February.

Here in Florida, you cannot take a large yacht to the fuel dock. You have to order either a fuel truck or make an appt with The Peterson Fuel Barge. The last yacht that I filled with fuel………. The fuel bill was just over $24,000. It had an 8000 gallon tank, but was not empty. Just some perspective.

The boat above…….. I filled it with fuel, then delivered it to Hilton Head South Carolina along with 2 mates that accompanied me. It was a bad ass 80’ Sportfisher. It worked out great. We then delivered a 48’ Sabre from Hilton Head back to Fort Lauderdale. The most convenient delivery I ever did. Watched a lot of Netflix movies! Lol

for me, regular @ my local SCV Costco $4:35 - I pay $4:45 usually at my local station
Burbank Costco $ 4:30
Plus neither are really close to the house (15mi) or work (5mi )

I can see where this would be worth your time. but for me to save $1:20 - 1:50 . I'd rather have that half hour of time.
