14/71 Mag coating

So... I want some feedback on this. I have spent quite alot of time last week with Larry Peto. He is going to build me a new motor out of an HP500 I had with a 14/71 Mag Littlefield. My question is should I paint the blower Hot Rod black? I dig the anti-bling stealth look. It has been polished and cleared at some time and looks bitchen the way it is.......sorta. I cant decide and if I am going to do this, I need to get after it this weekend.

Here is a pic of my deal and i just went through this with the decision also and kinda wished i would have gone another way. I think have the case blasted (lightly) and polish the ribs and same with the caps polished, or I had a friend that used some type of black rihno lining or crackle paint on the housing and highlighted the ribs by polishing just my .02 cents

Funny. Your motor is to purdy for that thing. I am sticking with the clearcoat polished green or whatever it is color.
