So after almost 10 years of at least 1 kid in diapers, no break in between, the baby is ALMOST out if diapers. She's gone a day and a half with no accidents in her big girl underwear.

Never in a million years did I think I would be changing diapers for almost 10 years nor would I have ever thought I would be this happy to not be changing them anymore.

4 girls. 😳. You think the diaper era was hard. God bless you. They are beautiful. 😄
One hurdle at a time my friend.
Wow, that’s a lot of kids Kevin. You’re a lucky man.
You're telling me!

Btw, it's been really nice having you posting again. And I still kick myself for not trying harder to buy your Stoker back then. Lol!

I know the diaper stage seems rough, but they are only that little one time and they grow up too fast. Enjoy every stage, the good the bad and the ugly💩, and cherish it. 🥲
And you thought diapers were expensive and a pain. Just wait. 😂

Like you said, one hurdle at a time and one day at a time. You seem to be doing pretty good. Keep it up. 👍🏻

Lol.. yup, kids were spread out and we ended up somewhere between 11-12 years of diapers and all the nonesense that goes with it. It was life changing to not have to load everything in the care when we went out.

Congrats on making it!

I remember when both of my kids were in diapers (cause they are 18 mos apart), praying almost every day...

Please lord, just let it stop!!!!!!

And when the last one got out of a car seat, that was one of the happiest days of my life.

Now that both of my kids are in their 20's...

I kinna miss those days in some strange way. They went by Way too fast.

Man oh man.... they for sure are treasures but brother brother brother... I just spent an hour on phone with a single parent mom with just ONE 15 yr old daughter... sweet Jesus pray you stay married is all I can say. It takes a village for sure and when they get boy crazy in todays culture you have no idea. Looks like you kept trying for a boy and we all salute you for your efforts. ;)

So just between us .... ya gonna try for a boy just once more... I mean you wont know what being outta diapers is like so whats another couple years

Boats come and go, having four daughters is much more important and rewarding than any boat. That being said it’s a 100 mph deal now, has a hopped up 2.5 on it and sits on a boat lift on a Canadian lake during the boating season, it’s living it best boat life 😂😂

Beautiful family! One thing my friend warned me about when my kids is potty trained. Is multiple restroom stops. 🤣😫
My son thinks it’s fun to pee on the side of the freeway. We made that mistake potty training and on the way to the river one time he said i have to go potty so I immediately stopped since it had only been a few weeks. Now every time we go somewhere if he peed 2 mins before we just left he has to go potty when we hit the freeway.

God bless your soul with 4 girls. I grew up with 2 sisters. I couldn’t do it. One is enough for me. You have a beautiful family.

Really brings you down when you're trying to get to the launch ramp when boat is in tow 😂

"Let there be rest...." lol Thats a lot of diaper changes for sure.

I am from a family of 11 kids before throw away diapers. At one time my Mom had 4 of us boys in cloth diapers at the same time...lol

Have no idea how she managed to keep up with all of us wild ass boys. Just for the record it was 6 boys and 5 girls....all same Mom and Dad :)

I decided to have one boy and that was plenty for me

RIP Mom and Dad

Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades. 😁

My oldest was potty trained when my wife was about 4 months pregnant with our second. I made the statement more than once that of we hadn't been successful getting pg with the second by the time the first was out of diapers we would have had one kid.

Teenage girls are not actually humans, they are little demons!! Lol They do become humans again though down the road. And then you miss the crap out of them.
I told my wife we need to have a house with a large garage by then so I can keep my sanity when "that time" comes around.

been changing diapers for the past 28 years for my son, and hope I'm around to do it another 28. You don't want to do the math as to how many diapers that is.

..: I am of 60s sort of l hippie mentality… Never got married, and never had any kids,.. but with my next-door neighbor…landing on me when she was nine after her father had bailed out on her family… and now she is 29… I have heard it all… Every detail of every boyfriend…😳 plus every other thing imaginable… I wouldn’t trade it for the world… And she kept me alive when I became very ill…
… But 4 girls…Oh my goodness😳… instill as good as possible values in them…gonna be some very rewarding work💕

Just a followup on my recent post on this thread ... was on a drunk live chat with a gal pal single mom with a 16 yr old daughter Friday night.. divorced from kids father in Newport for 5years... he's guy who doesn't seem to want a relationship with his kid. My gal pal yanked her out of Newport and hooked up with a Bakersfield raised guy who lives in SanFran.... He's also divorced from a crazy gal and they have a daughter whose 12 now... anywho, my gal pal and the Bako guy bought a place in San Fran maybe 3 years back... so they arrive from dinner out to find her 16 yr old daughter in her bedroom with 2 other girls and 3 boys their age just hanging out and he explodes on em and those boys jumped out windows and fled through any escapes available. Her daughter was crying and embarrassed as hell. I know my gals boyfriend/ partner well... total alpha type went to Cal playing D1 football then Oxfod for rugby and built several tech businesses and about 56 now... I've seen him get aggressive and he's had a lot of "anger management" training to keep employees from bailing and I can say after watching him for 5 years he's definitely improved. Well, after dust settled and boys gone and the 3 teenage girls are huddled most likely in shock in bedroom he goes in there and apologizes explaining that he is sorry and he only wants her to know he loves her and wants her to make good choices regarding any boys she's with [sexually]. The kid actually respects what he did in apologizing and explaining his position in front of her new friends. Tough spot for all and very tough on fathers of daughters be them steps or blood. Right fellas. It just aint an easy time.

love that man... girls are the foundation of so much and should be cherished and shielded a bit. Tough as it is sometimes. I had boys [steps] and they're just easier I think. I always ask gals as I date em what their relationships are with their fathers. Crucial that they have healthy relationships if we're to be healthy together as well.

… My Newport Beach girlfriend… Early 80s was a single mom… and she was a party girl… pretty sure I drank in every spot there was to drink in…in Newport… I’m sure you know the Newport Beach lifestyle… her daughter was around 10ish…and would spend the night on my liveaboard in the LA harbor…with us… Which was not exactly Newport Beach…
… The daughter…, Stephanie even called me dad once… she would sometimes go to Mexico with us in my motorhome… I could’ve married into that deal as Newport Beach girlfriend, was trying to get me into that situation… she was going to rent a house on Balboa Island for us…
…Hmmm???… I was off working on movies for television… and Newport beach girlfriend was partying the week away,… I would tend to believe???… I guess I wasn’t done being a bachelor on the docks…kind of regret it… the daughter later, graduated from the University of California, at Santa Barbara with honors…
…Yes females are incredible…

Nice! I'm just starting out. my boy just turned 10 months. Will start shooting for another next year some time. Luckily we only had to pull over 1 time on the way back from the river early this morning to change a diaper!

You'll learn to enjoy trips like that where there is only 1 or 2 stops.

We did a trip from Tucson to Burbank whe. We lived in Tucson where we only had to stop 1 time at State line to get gas. We left at like 4am so the kids were sleeping the whole way. It was glorius!!

I remember doing that a few times…but the most memorable was the times he got a raisin stuck in his nose and had no idea how it happened.
