I was told hard 90,s on a fuel system were a no no .
So as per Deatch Werks, the 90° will drop a flow rate however the amount is so marginal even on a bench test you won’t see the difference. Also my 90°are pre regulator (and each pump is good for 750hp) and as returns only. I picked their brains quite a bit, and they even directed me to a few YouTube videos. I’ll see if i can find them again.I was told hard 90,s on a fuel system were a no no .

Send her down buddy. You want to come to Washington for a few weeks and assemble a jet bote? Your motivation and attention to detail is far superior to mine!
The ano seemed to dull real bad, so if it’s polished stainless it’ll stay that way everything else is getting stripped and powdered.Did the anodize fade? I want to change my gauges but not sure what theme to go with yet.
I can tell you firsthand this is not true for lines carrying oil. You can measure the difference in pressure drop, sometimes temp rise, and difference in flow at each 90° fitting. Here was the most informative one.
Yea and it makes sense but according to people way smarter than me they did it’s perfectly fine, however it’s only been in discussion of fuel nothing else.I can tell you firsthand this is not true for lines carrying oil. The other thing to consider is aeration/laminar flow.
I think you’re fine with fuel, but viscosity changes change flow characteristics. Just don’t want misinformation out there. For the record, two 45° fittings outflow a 90° fitting (measured on a running engine on the dyno)
You’re doing a great job with your sled, nice work
I'm digging the silver against the blue!Decided to do the Smart Craft key and ignition on this boat as well as well, it’s not the regular universal key and looks much better.

No better time than now to cut the hole for the Volt gauge since i put the Fuel Pressure Gauge in its spot.

Yea same. Yea they need a little wipe down but boat goes to detail here soon. Just focusing on getting her back together meanwhile.I really like that color.
Is that the same powder you used for the swim steps?
Btw, might want to polish up those exhaust tips before you post more pictures
What color is that silver? I really dig the flake and how light it is. Would definitely consider doing our trailer and all the hardware that color as well. Boat looks really well doneYea same. @NeedlesRatSo much for the interior going back in, total of 43 different pieces of billet came out of the boat. All was originally polished with a clear ano over it, and after all the years it’s not as pretty any more. When i did the steps i did the Prismatic Heavy Silver and it matches the silver in the boat perfectly, so went ahead and did everything that color.

Should help make her look closer to new for sure.
Also shortly after buying i was able to get new decals for the rear of the boat, as one had a bad wrinkle in it and did a different design as well with the F series incorporated into it. So am getting the large F26 decals replaced to match in color and a little less of the orange on the boat.

I got from the Mercury Racing Speedshop however i don’t see any anymore. Which now makes me want to hunt for them and find another or two for myself. The red from the Mercury Dockstore is gone as well.Where can I buy this Key Float?
Clean looking vent covers, def on my list to replace mine as they are fake chrome not even metalputting the stainless mesh back into the aluminum pieces just wasn’t working all that great as they were old and hard to get to the silicone to stick without mushing out. So i reached out to Erik at DCB and asked what they were now using and he told me, not only is new and the modern way they do it, it looks way better and should allow the air to flow way better.

He also got me some extra decals, on a new car or truck it’d be the first thing I’d remove, however on the boat i dig it.

Yes sir, thank you.
Yea he definitely didn’t speak highly of you….. hear you have room in Havasu now to buy another toy tho.I heard you met the poster child for what people from Portland are like!?
Pirates or Mini Sandbar?I just realized it was you next to me on Saturday. I thought boat looked familiar. Lol
Sorry about the music, took a few mean mug‘s to my son before he realized I was serious about turning it down.
