It’s not all that practical, no one sells one done, and it actually is a mount for the coolant tank, relay box, and the heat exchanger. So not only is it a serious pita to remove finding a chrome isn’t easy these days, so it could be powder coated but even then a lot of work.

Coolant tank

The throttle bracket bolts were a little trickier, as they held on a piece of raw stainless, well an hour on the buffer later, i think i could get better but need different rouge as well another wheel to really cut it smoother then get a show shine, but it’s hardly visible so only one who will notice is HS

Needed to tighten some bolts on the steps, decided to remove and clean up a little. The prior owner would get a slip for the weekend while out, so it had some bad build up on the ladder and the steps. Planning to pull all rear hardware this fall and pc it silver to match the graphics, but for now i spent a few hours in the ladder.
First pic was after already half an hour of lime-a-way and scrubbing. Not anything special but helps my ocd.

And then back to the polisher.

No these are new from Livorsi. Old ones are still sitting there in the dash being old gauges. I don’t know of anyone who refurbs these style gauges, they are sealed etc Livorsi doesn’t even repair only replace.

Yes was still deciding exactly what to do. But yes custom orders from Livorsi are the only way to go. Not cheap but at that point what’s 300$ extra to make exactly what you want. They also powdered and printed a new trim indicator card for me so it’ll match perfect.

The new ones definitely look great. Sounds like I’d have to get a job to afford doing mine.

So it’s all in the pics, but built a little jig to do the wiring then put that all together and ladida 8 hours later it’s done. I don’t see @DCB calling and offering a job wiring but i think it came out pretty good. Not sure how i could’ve gotten the solder and heat shrink smaller but it’s done and i don’t see myself redoing it anytime soon lol.

Got the gauges in the sun today, took an mid morning stroll while lil dude was in school.
Truly cannot be happier with how they turned out, was even better hearing mama keep saying how much she loved them.

So we thought about it at first, but I’m not a big orange guy anyway, and when DCB redid the interior they didn’t use any orange. Ideally even though the cost way outweighs the end look I’d love to ditch the orange for that candy purple that DCB used in this same time line.

Got the holes from the front open bow pods opened up, for the new M2 Rockfords, i have to admit Speed of Sound Michael is a bad sob, how he made it look so easy to go from a 5.7” hole to a 7.1” hole.

Removing those side panel/boxes i found more than i bargained for with this boat tho.... full carbon kevlar and vacuum bagged hull.

Got all the wiring and controller from SoS as well.

Now tho to decide which grill i like better.

These big bastards are insane loud and clear, the Pierced sounded good but all 6 of them I’d honestly have to say these two that are in so far are louder already.

I like the white spoke ones personally. It might look generic but to me you don't have enough silver in your boat to tie in the mesh style. Either way your boat is nice. Keep up the great work!

Edit: I see your silver fabric now eyes didn't catch that before.... I'm a sucker for white but it's not my boat. And if you like the speaker lights I don't think that will show well with the mesh.

Boss lady said white spoke so she got her way. Hopefully get the other four holes opened up this week if @SPL2K can squeeze me in. Got all the rgb wires ran and ready so cut holes, mount than tune the Alpine’s. I will say these damn M2’s in the bow are insane loud, and glad Michael convinced me to do these vs the JL or Kicker i was thinking to do.

So whoever had done the keels before did something goofy and that was why it was chipping in the rear, so Pedro decided to do the whole thing for me to fix the prior issue.

So now she should be perfect from the bottom side.

need same done to Buds Mach26 keels/edges are very rough,please pass on Pedro/Saleen contact info.I heard DCB had some issues with certain years of delamination on bottoms.ours is a 2002 Mach26 and appears someone did keel work to this one also..

Trailer brakes have been crap since “No Thanks stay away from Frank’s” painted my boat, i mean shortened the tongue on the trailer. I’ve tried bleeding it but it’s just never bled right by myself. Saw a kit on eBay said wtf why not, and ordered it. Was a little messy at first but that was my fault i was trying to use too much pressure. However i ran 1/2 quart out the furthest caliper to try and clean it all out then about 2-3 oz out of the other three. The brakes actually work now and work amazing. I’d definitely recommend this kit for the 85$ it costs.
