Couldn’t be any worse than this.

Its more fun to watch all the whining and crying and blaming when they lose than all the self-congratulation stuff when they win.

Yeah, that F bomb was not cool. That’ll probably cost him some money that he doesn’t care.

And the Tiger’s go down. Go Cleveland. My Father always taught me to cheer for the team that took you down.

Am I alone thinking it was odd for a 9-0 blowout last night?
Did the Mets let that happen as a 'strategy'? . . . let the Dodgers sort of 'gas-out' , then come back and buzz-kill them ?
I know it doesn't sound convential to win a series by losing the 1st game intentionally . . . . I was just a bit surprised.
I'm sure there's way more in strategy than I'd even imagine . . . just wondering others thoughts.

No.. Not strategy.. Just one of those games where things went right for the Dodgers. The Mets are a great ball club, I suspect we’ll see them give them give the Dodgers a run for their money in this series.

One of the announcers said...

"This is just one game out of seven. This loss, won't faze the Mets at all."

The battle has just begun.

That's Smotlz for you, always saying a few stupid things a game lol. It for sure fazed them, NO team wants wants to lose the 1st game of a playoff series. I suspect they will come back firing today and make a good game out of it, buif the bullpen game script holds for the Dodgers we take game 2.

33 straight scoreless innings, ties the record. 3 straight shut out games, ties the record. 2nd largest shut-out win in post season history.

Yup, Dodgers have some garbage pitching. All 9 runs via small-ball as well. The sac bunt last night directly led to 2 runs being scored by the next batters.

I will agree, that crotch bump thing was disturbingly gay though.

These bunts are there to set the table for Ohtani, the bottom of the lineup is huge, get runs anyway you can.
100% this is something that has been missing for YEARS. Dodgers just struggle to manufacture runs when needed. Although watching some of them try to bunt is rough lol, but edman is great at it. This not only moves the runner over but almost always take out the double play. Bunts, long fly balls, walks, we need them to win this.

"50.000 fans in the seats and not one understands how the game is managed" - Leo "the lip" Durocher.

If Bueller starts, I'm wagering a Dodger loss.

Still here, even with giving up the GS in the second, Kike had several chances to close the gap, we just left too many runners on base.

Mets came to play. Interesting to See how Buehler does in game three. Hopefully him and Yamamoto pitch strong in game 3 and 4.

I suspect Bueller will puke in the first inning.
