Coming from a roofing background, Super Monday's were always an epic shitshow. About half would make it in, and they were all hungover. Hungover roofers are like a grenade with the pin pulled...things could get real interesting

When I was running tug boats in the San Francisco bay, if you were late you were fired. Tug boat shows up late for a construction job with 30 to 40 guys waiting for the barge with the equipment on it. NOT GOOD. Or showing up late for a ship job you lost the contract.

We were over at my helper's place to watch the game last night... (around the corner)...he was pretty tuned up. As soon as the chill burned off this morning, he was here ready to work and was actually productive today. Good thing too, cuz it was a busy day. Finished off the day getting his girlfriend a pair of Hella headlight bulbs from my supplier for $3 each and having her pick them up on the way home (along with another few willcall orders) after she called him from the dealer asking if $390 was a fair price to replace 2 headlight bulbs. Changed them in 5 minutes, happy helper, happy helpers GF, shipped 38 orders today (that's a lot for me). Amazingly not-fucked-up day after the shinanigans last night.
