… Get ready folks… the Baja bug movie is coming our way… From what I was told it’s done along the lines of Endless Summer… I am assuming quite a few interviews and action shots…
… not sure when the release date is but I believe it is nearing completion…
… The original Baja bug in the photos where my finger is…is currently being given a delicate restoration…it suffered an end over end crash decacades ago…

…Yep… 1961 Neil’s son Gary who is a good friend of mine took me over to Valley custom …there were no cars in the shop at the time…but man there was metal everywhere all over the floor…

… Gary just left my house… And he showed me a picture of the original Baja bug and what they are having to do to get it back in shape… Pretty major undertaking…
… Rod Emery is currently building …I don’t think you would call it a replica of the original Baja bug that his dad and grandfather built …but more of a modern day Baja bug …huge tires big swing arm suspension and I forget what motor it’s going to have… most likely it will be one of the motors that they put in their outlaw Porsches a 911 six-cylinder with the two center cylinders removed making it a four-cylinder …It is a modern day take off on the original Baja bug…
