… Help Need Insurance Advice…DUI Guy Hit My Cars…

… Oh boy… The plot thickens… Allstate had sent comps for my totaled 97 Dodge ram extra cab four-wheel-drive 12 valve Cummins diesel… They sent four comps… One the dealer had been out of business for two years… The next two turned out to be flatbed trucks in Wyoming… Not 2500 three-quarter ton pick ups like mine… Not even the same truck as my 2500 three-quarter ton long bed pick up… The fourth the dealer said they never had a truck like that ???

I was initially told any comps that I sent would have to be within my ZIP Code… There are no comps in
My ZIP Code….since Allstate had sent comps from Wyoming… and Idaho…I thought the rules had changed… So I sent one comp from Colorado and the other from Oregon, I believe… Now the total loss Claims manager sent me a text a couple hours ago… Saying the two comps you sent us are one year older… I had previously been told by Allstate that I could go two years up and two years down on the comps …So now the total loss, Claims manager is allowed to change the rules… WTF…Does anybody know anything about two years up and two years down on the comps.., I am in California, so California laws would apply???

.., I just thought of something else… Why would the total loss Claims manager be texting me at 8:30 last night while I am in line at Kryspy Kreme donuts with Neighbor girl…

… The total loss claims department has actually been harassing me… This same guy… And his underlying… had instructions that Mr. Bryden is elderly and extremely disabled. Do not call him before 11am… He called me at 8:30 in the morning the other day and now he is texting me at 8:30 at night… I don’t know …is this elder abuse???… It is starting to feel like it to me…. The total loss claims manager’s name is Anthony Le… His underlying the same same guy that came out and totaled my two vehicles and my camper… Did the same thing …called me way before 11 AM?… And then both of these guys insisted that the underlying Robert Cruz…hand deliver paperwork to me about a week and a half ago… After I told them mail it… These guys keep twisting me and twisting me… and am pretty feeble…

… I realize both of these guys are paid to be closers and get me out of their system… Who knows maybe they are schooled to just keep twisting the old people till they cave in..:

Wish I could help you. None of my current cars are really worth much. I really haven't dealt with insurance stuff in a long time...not as far as claims goes. Do you have any attorney type friends that could draft a strongly worded letter to help persuade the insurance dorks? Seems as there should be some sort of advocate program for seniors in your area.

… I do… A good friend is a retired Superior Court judge/attorney..: I haven’t run the details of this by him yet… He knows that I’m going at it with Allstate. though…

… I used to be really good at this insurance stuff…And I was pretty sharp Wednesday when I had a verbal teh to teh with the main guy… But I guess I simply have run out of energy… And this guy is a lot younger and hasn’t run out of energy

… I got the paperwork from the California Department of insurance… And it may be time for me to give in and let them take over… They have said so far Allstate has already broken some California laws..,???…

… I get really frustrated because I’m just not a young go after em guy anymore

… The guy sent me a couple of texts this evening… That were simply not true… as far as I know… The first one was about the comps… And I told him I believed Allstate was responsible for the content of their comps… And he essentially said that Allstate was not …that the company Allstate uses CCCONE one is responsible… And Allstate cannot be responsible because that would be a conflict of interest…Really???…

… He also said or at least alluded to the fact that the comps I sent Allstate were one year older than mine…96 Dodge Rams and not 97’s… and that the CCCone company could not accept them… Allstate had previously told me that with comps I was allowed to go two years down and two years up… The 94 through 97 Dodge Rams are 99% the same truckmid 98 and up…24 valve not 12 valves..;

… I guess I had better write this down… As questions for the California Department of insurance tomorrow… Thank you, my friend…

Sorry for you situation. My father died in a wreck in his truck 5 years ago. So I took care of the claims and all the other BS with his policy's. including death.

Auto was with Allstate. Their medical side was great and was able to close out those claims very quickly. However the auto property adjusters were a nightmare. Would not let Allstate write a policy for me if it was free. Took us almost a year to come to terms on the value and get it paid out to my mother. Got about 2.5 times where their offer started, but still probably 10-15% shy of what we felt was the true value. Bunch of Lying Mother Fuckers! Was terrible. Luckily my mom was in a position where she was not in need of a replacement or the funds quickly. I did not go into any details with her but told her it was best if she moved her Home and Auto elsewhere which she did.

Would not let Allstate write a policy for me if it was free. Took us almost a year to come to terms on the value and get it paid out to my mother. Got about 2.5 times where their offer started, but still probably 10-15% shy of what we felt was the true value. Bunch of Lying Mother Fuckers! Was terrible. Luckily my mom was in a position where she was not in need of a replacement or the funds quickly. I did not go into any details with her but told her it was best if she moved her Home and Auto elsewhere which she did.

Thank you I have all numbers that are not in my contacts on silent… Unfortunately, I put Anthony Lee the manager of total loss in my contacts… Going to see if I can file a Formal complaint today… Most likely won’t be able to do it till Monday… But it is worth a try…

… I spoke with Allstate corporate office this morning. Explained the situation about being harassed outside of business hours and my hours by Allstate total loss claims people… The corporate girl read back to me what she was going to process… So we will see if things do get escalated above the total loss estimator, and his manager… Both a couple of bozos

… Now I am being barged with texts from Copart. They want me to sign over the title of my Ford expedition so they can process the salvage title…
… I replied to their text, saying no more communication unless by email… Their reply they do not participate in chats… Duhhh???…
