A friend of mine was staying in a hotel in Santa Monica just across the street from Bum Park on the bluff for a few months. Evening bum fights watched from his balcony were a nightly occurrence, as were the feces smeared walls in the hotel courtyard...

Took my Dad to the Van Nuys Cruise last night. There are numerous homeless camps on Van Nuys Blvd these days. We even saw a guy walking near Van Nuys and Burbank that was walking without pants.
