JITB had a deep fried burrito in the '70's that eased a hangover after leaving a club or strip joint at 2:00 a.m. 👍
Everything else was meh...

The 70's was Always the OG Tommy's on Rampart.

And trying not to fall down just standing in line! 😁

Could never bring myself to eat at JITB based on the reputation, but tended bar in one of those high end restaurants in '74. Place called The Dry Dock. Their menu was top notch.
It's much better if you take the Limo they'll treat you like a King! although it might be King Edward the II a King none the less. 😁

Ralston Purina owned Jack in the Box fast food restaurants from 1968 to 1985, along with several high-end restaurants.

Now you know what their tacos are so tasty!
Used to have the little checkerboard on all the sacks, even the little taco bags.😁

meximelt = soft taco - lettuce + 3 cheese blend + Pico. Put it in the steamer (if you find a location that still makes pico)

enchirito = combo burrito + 3 cheese blend + red sauce. specify on the outside, put in the steamer

I worked at the tacobell in savi ranch in hs. I've got the menu dialed including most of the old items.

the beans are dehydrated, just add water beans no matter what location you go to. The flavor isn't going to change, maybe just how much water they add.
Oh I’m well aware how they’re made. Iv ate it all over california southern and northern, in Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming.
And I promise you go to Taco Bell in havasu. those beans are NOT the same. it’s not the hydration part, that’s hit or miss even at consistant TB’s
Havasu the flavor is actually different. Order a pintos n cheese, you will spit it out By the 3rd bite if you know what it’s supposed to taste like. lol

another reference, del taco‘s are virtually consistent across the board. with the exception of Barstow that is the top. But 2 locations that do not get the same beans or their directions to prep was written down wrong from X amount of tbs salt to add to cups of salt to add per batch. 🤮 DT off Sierra and 15, DT off Azusa and 210

Not sure if she's still there, but in September of 2016 Dawn Wolesky reached 30 years at that Jack in the Box.

I’m pretty sure the owner of that store is an rdp member. I talked to him on the phone once about something.

They are boaters for sure. I can’t remember who I was with (family or friends) that they were good friends with. Cool couple
