Looking for input from the RDP brain trust.
Im taking the kids to Williams AZ the weekend of April 11-14 to ride train into the Grand Canyon. We’re coming from Upland CA, and thought it would be nice to drive out to Parker Thursday the 10th, have dinner and stay over a night somewhere near the...
Not mine, I’ve got my own fair share, but my son here continuing his own collection of war stories.
We spent 6 hours getting 5 stitches in the ER Monday night.
I told him when anyone asks, just to say ‘You should see the other guy!

7500 for small home in a legitimate fire zone (will probably loose all coverage this year),
2500 for primary residence but also told it’s in a ‘high fire zone’.
Pic of actual fire zone attached:
Based in the recommendation here I put this on last week after having a few at a holiday party.
I remember it starting a little slow. I finished the movie along with a few more drinks.
I have no recollection of how it ended but based on the pile of empties, that tracks.
Maybe I’ll pour...
2022 TRD Off Road owner here. Bought it new for under sticker, which seemed near impossible in 2022.
You need to put a tuner on them to clean up the sloppy transmission shifts - helps considerably in making these things drivable.
Not fast, not big, not even as reliable as older...
I’m reading this and I’m hearing you.
Finalized mine 2 months back. Judge signed and it’s finally-final.
Similarly, we worked it out ourselves without attorneys. Sat down with a bottle of booze, a notepad, and made a plan. Hired someone to put together our paperwork and file with the...
Did them both at the same time. Surgeon was at USC, he knew I needed both and I didn’t see a reason to go through the process twice.
I’ll admit, the third day I was so swollen and immobilized trying to leave the hospital I really thought I’d made a mistake doing them both.
Looking back that...
Just did this 6 months ago.
Double hip replacement, Up and walking on them in the hospital same day. From walker, to cane, to walking on my own within the first week.
10-outa-10 would do again.

Lost lake! And I’ve got a story from the first time I was ever there.
Came across Lost Lake 20 or so years ago while riding dual sport bikes with a buddy in the area. Didnt know it was even there and was obviously suprised to find it given the area around it.
Were sitting on the waters edge...
@ChumpChange had a couple of these when we were kids.
First time on a motorcycle I rode one into the side of his shed. Chose the shed over the deep end of the pool. Think I still have a scar. Carry on.
Haha, I love the reference, but afraid too few will understand.
(In fair disclosure, I also own some cryptocurrency - but there’s a difference between diversifying and diving in)
Maybe Im just a jerk (i probably am), but when I need to merge lanes in traffic and see a Tesla, I just put my truck in front of those things and whether its the driver or an auto-breaking feature, I’ve never had a problem merging in front of one.
Carry on.
20’s and they need to be ‘Spinners!!!!

17’s ALL DAY on anything ever seeing dirt for all the constructive reasons provided above.
Plenty of E rated options for towing.
Ex wife wasn’t around, and sending the kids alone wasn’t in their best interest.
Honestly no genuine concern of the fire itself, I agree SAH will be fine.
I just didn’t want the impression of being asked to leave hastily would have left on them or their concern if I left them without me...
I live in San Antonio Heights just below the fire.
We watched it cross the ridge late yesterday as it moved across Baldy Road. Prevailing winds were sending it deeper into Baldy Village and Wrightwood but we were put on notice to evacuate anyway.
By the early evening they had trucks...
I legitimately couldn’t keep count of the cars I’ve owned. What stays and what goes depends on the specific vehicle and how well I like it. I had an old toyota with 500k+ miles on the chassis. Others have been up for sale almost immediately after buying.
If you like it and it’s paid for, drive...
