I watched the videos using Kerdi, I just don't get how thinset over the membrane is 100% waterproof. I did see it pass the flood test tho. Thinset is not waterproof, nor is any cement. I am a hack DIY at best, but between the cost and the thinset, I'm not sold. I've done two stall showers...
