This is my plan too. I have a 4 post lift was going to pull the boat under and lift her off the trailer. The eyes sound easier but also nerve racking. LOL

Theres a guy out of Tucson who installs them. the winch goes into the floor. Its back about where the back foot rest is. When not in use has a rubber plug.
