So nobody should ever start any DIY threads around here huh? Never claimed to be an expert.
You really have a way of stinking the place up.
I started a thread for information purposes and to share my process. I could have just done a hey LAM when I was done.
You encouraged me at the...
Okay great news. It was just a user error.
When I installed the screen logic controller then by default it has no settings setup for the pump. I set it up and put it to 1000 rpm and ran the pump manually and things started flowing.
So only bad equipment is the spa light.
I'm going to have...
Yeah crap just happens. Just sucks. Was worth the huge savings.
Light was boxed up right until install by plaster but they coulda knocked it.
Pump maybe I'm just nuts and it's me but I've got a service guy so I haven't been messing with stuff. I start installing screen logic today but just...
Crap. I think my pump might have taken a dump already. Left for an hour and came home and the pool wasn't filtering. I tried playing around with stuff and couldn't get it back on manually or on program. Didn't have much time before I had to leave.
At least the Pentair service guy is coming...
A lot of bigger boats you actually lose seating too.
The 23-25 range (depends on the model) seems to be the sweet spot for overall seating capacity, water sports, handle big water etc and do it with a 496 or 502 and still have good speed.
The big difference with salt is that it is monitoring it and generating the right amount of chlorine. You aren't spiking when the pool guy comes and drops tons in and then diminishing throughout the week. Not adding a bunch extra in anticipation of the weekend swimming. Also you run your...
Actually got to 70 but the air temp started cooling down.
Remember the middle is the deepest at 5 feet. I'm standing in the deep end basically. And with the gray plaster that helps too. And I'm sure the water movement helps too since the warmer spa water is going on since I'm running 8-5 right...
68 degree water right now. Bit chilly since it's not that hot out but was okay. Spa water is much warmer.
Can't wait until I can run heater and hang in spa.
Can't wait until it's super hot out and we can enjoy pool.
Thanks yeah. I'll keep updating as we do work. Going to raise that back wall to obscure the older neighborhood view. Get some plants in and then do something about the wood fences.
Changing the patio covers to solid won't really change aesthetics except for being able to add lighting and...
Okay so here is a pic just now with the water all nice and clear after a week of plaster shed.
Excuse the Barron landscape. Ripped stuff out to put in plants that will go better with the pool.
Water is 65 right now so I might do my inaugural polar bear this afternoon when the boys get home...
UV is bad for beer. Wonder why NewCastle is yummy and in clear bottles.
Could be that they transport properly. But I wonder also if it doesn't happen as quick with darker beers.
Working in the restaurant industry for a short stint the worst place I ever saw in person was a China Buffet and it was just like that. Nina of meet on the floor and we are having to step over it carrying caustic chemicals and bleach.
There are however places I'd eat off the floor.
It does...
Or just a little bit more there is a cream puff of a 24 foot Ultra listed with them too. [emoji6]
Shameless plug aside. I think a 23 on Havasu is someone looking to upgrade fast.
As said it's the type of boating.
Nothing less than a 24 on Havasu really but I disagree with needing a 28. But again that's based on the boating style. If you are going to hang around the high traffic areas then absolutely a 28 is much more comfortable for everyone. At the end of the day when...
Good stuff. A bit sweet but delicious. They should make the stuff without booze. The combo of the sweet and the high booze makes it so you can really only have one.
