Ha, yeah I guess I forgot that part. Turns out it was the truck side connector. Pulled out the GM connector and installed a Pollak connector I picked up and the problem is gone.
1. I guess in my second paragraph when I said I checked the truck side connector with a meter I should’ve specified I checked power and ground to clarify?
2. The trailer wire harness is grounded to the trailer with a good connection and not grounded through the hitch.
3. See #2.
4. I was...
Ok I’m trying to trace the white ground wire from the connector forward to find the connection to frame and I lose it between the cab & bed. Looks like it ends in a bundle zip tied to the frame but that can’t be right. 2006 2500hd ccsb.
The black wire coming out of the connector is only long enough to go into the wire nut. Then it’s jumped to the license plate light. I pulled back the loom a little and didn’t find a matching black wire in there. I’ll look at it deeper.

The issue:
Connect boat trailer lights to truck and trailer lights act like a bad ground. Example, step on brake and all but two trailer lights come on. Or turn on all lights and one tail light is brighter than the other.
It’s obvious there’s power but checked the truck side connector anyway...
To answer the question, yes. As far as this song, no. I can’t stand it. It’s so bad it’s almost comical. I can’t help but think it’s a Wierd Al cover. Just my two cents.
I’ve been trying to buy off craigslist for a week. First the guy tells me he’s busy working but won’t tell me when he’s available. So I wait for the weekend and then he doesn’t respond.
I still tow my boat back and forth from socal to the river. I know it’s just dumb luck but I switched from stockish tires to all terrain tires and noticed a couple rock chips and dents in the bow of my boat after this trip.
Anybody running removable mud flaps or something better? Show and tell...
I know it’s been around long before. I remember all the drama that took place when some felt it shouldn’t be an event or have people outside the ‘circle’ attend because they felt it lost its meaning. I was just curious like I said.
You don’t want me in charge. It will go something like this...
Just playing devils advocate here but... one persons scheduling conflict requires the ‘event’ to be moved around after everyone else already made their plans? I know it’s Vic’s deal and I know it’s months from now so put your torches and pitchforks away. Was just curious.
