Water heater is 2 years old and the softener is original- 10 yrs old. And yes, I'm in havasu. I think I can bypass the softener??

Any plumbers on the boards?? I'm having issues with air in my water lines. It seems to reoccur after my water softener regenerates every 3-4 days and early in the morning (flushing the toilet sounds like a release of pressure and air). Any ideas for a fix?

Well, just got off the phone with Eddie and they said it's basically Their cost from UPS. Wow. Shit is expensive. I told the guy that they should be up front with the shipping cost and he said their website isn't that up to date yet. Whatever. Still only $43 for the part and it looks good.
