I currently have a 234 edge Eliminator and have come to the realization that wake boats are ruining my lake. Im looking to get something with a ride that doesnt make me want to get out of boating. Im in the midwest and am looking at some Donzi 26s and fountain 27s etc. I recently came across a...
Since this looks like the end of the thread Im going to throw in. I have a 234 edge and the wakeboard boats are killing me. Would a Howard offshore 22xl be a significant upgrade in ride?
I am rebuilding a 234 edge, and am looking for some stereo help. I'd like to do at least 1 12" and enough mids and highs to make it sound good. I think the only mounted speakers are some 5 1/4 coaxials just outboard of the driver and passenger seats. Anybody have a really nice system in an Edge?
68mph @ 4800rpm
the nose of the boat rides moderately high
Trim level is moderate
All around performance is preferred.
Part of the problem is I have zero experience with this boat.
Also I was just doing some more research, I didnt realize they were 20 different types of Bravo 1 prop. It...
Im not really sure why people keep suggesting a stern lifting prop for an air entrapment boat. The bravo 1 is a good (safe) all around prop but Im really not sure it is the best option here. Im not looking for a magic prop, Im looking for the right prop.
I am in a performance boating desert here. I have a semi-local prop shop that is supposed to do good work, so I thought I may try adjusting this one first.
To answer some of the other questions. It has the 375hp 496 Mag. Bravo 1 has 1.50 gear ratio. The prop is a Mercury Revolution 4, that is a...
I wasnt sure where to put this question but I thought I'd start here.
I have an Eliminator 234 project boat that im working on. Just got it in the water recently. It had an unknown size Predator prop. I had people that I trust tell me that this particular prop is junk. So I got some input on...
Just an update. We checked fuel rail pressure (40PSI). We thought it would be helpful to see if it had any fault codes so I had it scanned. It shows a crank position sensor fault.
Merc wants $330 for the sensor. So I ordered a GM one for $70. It will be in monday and will update after...
OK, so I went and read the description for the Rev 4 on the Merc website. It talks about being for inshore/offshore fishing boats, it mentions something about center console boats.
So i was less than convinced. I called BBlades and asked him what prop they carried had the most bow lift. He said...
