As long as you’re happy with your build and cost that is what counts . When you say high end interior materials I would have to disagree .
Thanks for the info. It appears I haven't kept up with sales as well as I thought I had.Very valid points. Here is a link to two homes that have sold in Riviera. Both are non lake view homes. Click HERE for Riviera Solds
Curious to hear what don't you think is high end interior materials? As long as you’re happy with your build and cost that is what counts . When you say high end interior materials I would have to disagree .
I'm glad you said it so I didnt have to!patch job looks like crap.....
Love that second home.I like this house for the $ per square foot compared to other homes in Riviera and I like the pool .... don't like the view.
I like the view and price on this one but don't like that it does not have a pool or a place for one.... Really like the view and layout though.
Grays are going away pretty quick. It’ll be Hunter green in the 90’s in a few years. The new home style blows my mind. but tell that to our wives. They all want the White Kitchen, Grays everywhere, hotel lobby Tik Tok influenced garbage that their girlfriends send them. And its hard to convince them otherwise. As guys, we just say fuck it, make her happy. Last thing I got on my mind is decorating a house.
Cant wait for this fad to end.
I am still waiting for harvest gold and avocado to come back in style.Grays are going away pretty quick. It’ll be Hunter green in the 90’s in a few years.. Lots of white and wood/wood tones.
Sadly we had coppertone in the hood.I am still waiting for harvest gold and avocado to come back in style.![]()
I hope not! I just replaced the gold kitchen sink and appliances and avocado green toilet and sinks in my Dads house and he was not happy. He loved that stuff, but it was worn out after 50 years.I am still waiting for harvest gold and avocado to come back in style.![]()

They could have fogged the entire wall. Cheap fcks.patch job looks like crap.....
Where all the great painters and plasters on that high end buildThey could have fogged the entire wall. Cheap fcks.
Should have just recolored the whole wall. Tells you a lot about the builderpatch job looks like crap.....
I am curious as to why they even had to do stucco damage there. I would think they could frame the opening from the inside and then cut the plaster afterwards. I’ve seen it done that way before, but I’m not a contractor so maybe I’m just an idiot with an opinion. They could have fogged the entire wall. Cheap fcks.
they cut the opening for a taller door, then had to patch it in for a smaller door. For the money they are asking, that needs to be fixed.I am curious as to why they even had to do stucco damage there. Would that have covered it? Maybe long enough to get out of the builder warranty. They could have fogged the entire wall. Cheap fcks.
Looks like they framed in a bigger door then installed the smaller door?I am curious as to why they even had to do stucco damage there. I agree that’s kind of what it looks like that I wonder why. Just seems odd to me. No matter what they did they should’ve blended the fix a hell of a lot better than they did. You would think the realtor would say fix that shit.Looks like they framed in a bigger door then installed the smaller door?

Synthetic stucco, they should have floated the whole wall. They could have fogged the entire wall. Cheap fcks.
Yes.Would that have covered it? Maybe long enough to get out of the builder warranty.
I got lucky, mine hates all of that white museum esthetic bullshit. The new home style blows my mind. but tell that to our wives. I would be livid if I lost a deposit! Man thats crazy!!I got lucky, mine hates all of that white museum esthetic bullshit.
I had a buddy who was building a house in Oklahoma, he let his girlfriend spec it out, all white everything of course. We were all sitting and talking about the house and he mentioned he didn’t care about the spec because he was going to tear all that cheap shit out anyways. The look on his girlfriend’s face was priceless.
He ended up backing out of the build and losing his deposit lol…
When I browsed through the houses I did not even notice until @HNL2HC pointed it out... It almost seems like the hardware and everthing were for a bigger door and then they went smaller; complete afterthought and looks like shit... they would definitely be fixing if I was buying; surprised they cheaped out.they cut the opening for a taller door, then had to patch it in for a smaller door. For the money they are asking, that needs to be fixed.
This is also a great explanation why when ever we have an issue and have to go into an exterior wall and finished a quality GC will comment that the whole wall from corner to corner will have to be skimmed over get it to look right. Obviously the person that did a repair tried to get it done on the cheap. Personally I would have dropped the door to clear the rear door OR if you need the head room just put in a door and sidelight. Best of luck to the Realtor and seller. When I browsed through the houses I did not even notice until @HNL2HC pointed it out... You can be poor in Havasu, just not at the Riviera or foothills.Although nice, these homes are way too rich for me. Looks like I’ll have to go be poor somewhere else.
