Rewatching the last episode now to remind myself what's going on.

Reacher is coming back too.

Good series. I do not like the long waiting periods between the story lines though. Still haven't figured out where I left off with Yellowstone. Been too long.

We watched last night too, good show.

I guess I missed it when Cole Brings Plenty passed away last April. Actor that filled his role went unnoticed by my wife because she missed the tribute.

Great show, I hope Taylor can keep the 4 competing story lines going without getting cute about it. For example we know the Rainwater family doesn't meet the Duttons until the start of Yellowstone, I'm hoping there isn't a redskin in the woodpile moment in 1923, IYKWIM ...

I don’t get how the Indian girl fits into everything. I’m sure we will find out soon enough. Sheridan must be obsessed with lions. 🤷🏼‍♂️

My only offering on this is it feels like you get 10 min per story every week. I'm ready for them come together.

I cried laughing at the scene with Harrison Ford at the speakeasy door.

I agree. How many episodes total this season? 6? 7? If only 6, that means there is only one episode left. It's painfully slow suffering. This isn't entertainment.

Edit: I just looked it up. 8 episodes. That means it's 5/8 of the way over, thank God.

Jeezus!! Enough already.

Can Spencer and his wife just get to the ranch??? I get it. Traveling was hard, and sacrifices were made.

This season SUX to the point I am considering just waiting to watch the final episode.
Lol.. Right. I watched the first one of this season, then stopped for a bit for that very reason. In the mean time, check out Black Doves and American Primeval. Both great short series and you can watch them as fast as you want.

Isn’t someone on the forum in movies or TV? Let Sheridan know he’s ruining all his shows. His appearance in the second season of Lioness had me rooting for the terrorists to take him out. Season 1 of 1923 was great. This season has spent more time on developing the sex kinks of the protagonist than anything else. Only a matter of time before Tulsa King and Landman are completely ruined at this rate.

Harrison Ford knows all his ills are coming at the direction of that sadistic billionaire.

so why not just dump him? It’s not like that would be an unjustified murder - would it? 🤔😎

It’s fucking slow. I’m losing interest
I feel this way about all the Taylor Sheridan stuff now. It's like a great rock band who pours their soul into an epic first album and phones in the next three.

I do however love some of the brief moments of fantastic writing that states the obvious problems with society. I find it hard to believe some of the poor choices the protagonist make but I get that it's a soap opera.

These shows find a system that works and ride it to the bank. I bet ChatGTP can write episodes just about as good.

I agree. I actually started losing interest during Landman. It had a lot of side fluff scenes, and a couple good scenes per episode. I feel like his shows at 85% fluff, and 15% good content.

Taylor's had a great run, but all good things come to an end. Hopefully he didn't spend it all, LOL. 1923 is dragging on big time, Tulsa King not as good as it was. Maybe he just got spread too thin to keep the quality at the same level. Not sure if I'll watch the rest of 1923 or start any of his new stuff that I haven't started yet.

I could not finish LandMan, I abandoned Tulsa King quickly. Lioness lost me at season two.

Tyler has the ability to create great shows, but always said he cant keep them going...

He should stick with movies, and not TV series.

Tulsa King: S1 was good. S2 was meh.
I almost stopped watching it.

Lioness: I enjoyed S2, but definitely not as good as S1.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves: For those that don't know it is about the first black U.S. Marshal, who was thought to be the inspiration for The Lone Ranger. I was looking forward to this series. It was slow and boring with very little action. Although Taylor was the Creator of the show, he didn't write or direct it.

1883: Really good show.

Mayor Of Kingstown: S1 was great. S2 was very good. I haven't watched S3 yet.

Yellowstone: Started out great. Then got too soap opera ish. Ended good even though it was a little rushed feeling.

Taylor's formula seems to be
1) Start out strong.

2) A problem arises. Gets intense for a few minutes.

3) Start dealing with a problem, then cut to 20 minutes of fluff side stores.

4) By the time the problem is resolved, 2 or 3 more arise (problems pop up like they are coming out of a fire hose).

5) End season with a cliffhanger. Regardless of if the show has been renewed for another season.

6) The End! 😂😂

I’d agree with most of that except 1883 was great imo.

I lost interest on season 2 of Tulsa King and quit watching. It’s just too ridiculous.

Funny everyone has the same feelings.

I'm yelling at the TV this has got to be the unluckiest group of people that have ever existed.

Just get home already.

Kid Dutton is a freaking idiot.

I like the Lioness and mayor of kingstown.

Tulsa king was good and funy but i stopped watching middle of second season.

1883 might be the 2nd greatest show ever behind game of thrones.

Out of all of these I liked 1883 the best. 1923 is full of unnecessary bullshit. Tulsa King I have not bothered to watch season 2.

How the hell does TS write so many of these things in such a short period of time?

I loved Tulsa King right up until the driver's Dad was blown up. The show worked because it was always fun and light hearted. Showing that happening at the family home and in front of the kid changed all that. And then the fight scenes just become even more ridiculous.
At this point S2 of 1923 is only interesting from the standpoint of how it meshes with Yellowstone. On its own S2 is much less compelling than S1.
Couldn't finish Lioness.

Couldn't continue with season 2 of 1923. Had high hopes in the beginning but much disappointment followed.
Currently watching 1883 season 1 for the second time. The last episode is heart wrenching to say the least.

I think if they would have let the actors show there ability and the workings of the ranch it could have been great. It gets a little old that everyone is always out to kill and steal from the duttons and its nothing but doom and gloom.

I will edit. 1883 was really good to me. Not great, but really good. Not just good.

Yeah, they did a pretty good job of answering all the questions. I'm curious who the new addition will turn out to be in the future, or if that story goes nowhere.
Pretty sure the baby is Costner’s Dad as they named him John. With the next and final series in the prequels (1944), my expectations are really high as it’s the last chance to put it all together and wrap it up nicely.

In my mind I was relating Whitfield's plan of a resort to current day Big Sky which is up the valley from Bozeman. In the last episode there was a line to the effect "if you get rid of him, you'll have to deal with another developer like him in another 50 years."...Big Sky opened in 1973.
