That’s definitely NOT glamping!
We’ve had trailers and have done plenty of tent camping as well. We even tried tent camping at Park Moab in 110+ heat. That 3 day trip lasted a day and a half. Now, my idea of camping is a lot different. A real toilet, heat/ac, a fridge, tv’s, mattress topper and electric fireplace. I’ve definitely gone soft.

I think I used my motorhome once this winter.. Had to deal with a bunch of family stuff.

That said I know we will be doing our annual July motorhome trip. Not 100% sure what I'm going to do about my mom yet?

Crazy the things you stumble across riding around in the desert…

I want to try JV next season. Kinda set in our ways at Ocotillo and my kids like it.
I have never been to Ocotillo so I cant say how they are different/similar.
Johnson valley is so big and there is everything there. Rock, dirt, sand etc. Its close to my house so its easy LOL

We like the warm weather and without traffic, it’s an easy drive. Plus there’s fuel and a dump station on the way out. With young kids, it’s easy and predictable for our program.

I was supposed to go to Napa this weekend with a group of friends, but I have a family member in the hospital and needed to stay close to home.
