so where did these molds go???
Have not seen that boat surface in years. Late 2000’s I went to look at it twice when it was up for sale on Hot Boat but couldn’t pull the trigger on that price tag. Sure wish I would have. That boat was SANO!!!!Anyone know what happened to rushin roulette? All red cole with a turbo motor that hauled ass. It was one of my favorite boats
Mine was a Bravo set up with a blower motor.@namba860 owned it at one point if it’s the one you’re thinking of. Purple and black?
That’s J540’s for sure. Funny that it is thought to be a Parker boat as it made it there for that event (needles crew wake up call) and one maybe two other times in that configuration. We used the hell out of it in Havasu until 07-08 ish. This is the one I've always liked. Maybe it is a 20', but I thought it was a 21'. Perfect Parker boat!!
My dad and his friend were the ones who got the bare hull from Cole in 1990. It was rigged with a blown alcohol deal originally and then a twin turbo set up. It was then sold to a friends of the family (Rod Lemond and Sean Keep who ran it a few times over the years. At some point Rod bought Sean out of the deal then sold it to someone I don't know. I do believe Scott Steele has it at his shop currently. It's stripped down to a bare hull the last time I saw pics of it about a year ago. The boat has had a rough life. It's been cashed 2 times that I know of. 2nd crash did alot of damage that B&K did a nice job of repairing back in the late 90's.Anyone know what happened to rushin roulette? @CarreraMikeI believe @Goodtime$
Also whatever happened with the guy build the carrera boats I think he built a few he was posting on here if I remember correctly
Yeah, I hate boat snobs , as long as your on the water and enjoying the family. Sorry but the guy with the well cared for and clean production boat has my respect over the guy with the expensive ride that not cared for. This is gonna be a weird reply.
I met the owner of Cole boats at the LA Boat show in 1987
I was there with my friend looking to buy our first boats.
We hardly had any money and we were looking at cheap boat packages and we had new families and it was hard to get our wives to be all into it.
So we couldn’t spend a lot.
We wandered into the Cole booth and I can’t remember exactly what he said … but my friend just said we were over at the Bayliner booth … and the owner of Cole boats dismissed us and literally stuck his head up in the air and took me by the arm and walked us out of his booth. No lie.
Geez … such an AHole to the max … sorry we wandered out of the ghetto.
The point is … I’ll never forget him and his disgusted look.
We ended up buying 2 boat packages from Bayliner for $10K each and we were on the lake for cheap almost every weekend for the next 4 years.
Wives and kids skied & tubed and we had great times on those $10K boats.
Yeah the boats were cheap but we took care of them and they never let us down.
Like a lot of us … many of us began with starter boats … anything to get on the water … to us it was a lot better than staying home.
So Mr. Cole … (RIP) … business Is all about relationships.![]()
