Thanks for the heads up! 👍👍

I'm heading to Havasu in an hour to get new tires on the dually and this gives me time to call and cancel the goodyears and to see what other tires are available.

I don't think they make Goodyear tires for your Prius. 🤔 😂

Post a pic of your new tires...lol

Yeah probably just a good business practice, and it probably went more along the lines of no political attire at work.
Attire LOL I crack me up.
Not sure how the company can say no political affiliation groups but they are ok with social affiliation groups.....Lawyer would have a field day with 1A infringement. Most companies just say no logos....No sports teams, no social groups, no political groups...

They also gave money to BLM. They also own Dunlop, so be aware when you make your next tire choice.

Now for me, it's stuff like this that I cringe when I see Trump tweet out. Goodyear, although they manufacture tires all over the world including Canada, Germany and Chile is an American Company and still manufactures tires in the U.S.

Instead of a tit for tat or a vindictive tweet, he should say something to the affect, "hey, I support freedom of choice but I especially support our great American Manufacturers. You'd think they would support freedom of choice and me and allow MAGA hats for those that want to wear them." or something to that end.

Of course after seeing Cdog's screen shot above, for fucks sake. What a bunch of dip shits.

I think companies that allow any of this stuff run a slippery slope. So they allow Maga hats but say no to neo-nazi group or a mongels shirt.......1A is a slippery slope so just don't allow any of it. They are there work not wear a bunch of stuff that does not align to the company brand.

Yokahama for my pickup and Pirelli on the bike. Goodyear, Dunlop, Michelin are all overpriced junk as far as I'm concerned.

I'm a toyo fanboy anyway. Loving the new RTs.

Bfgs have their place. As do US made falkens.

I'll pass on anything made overseas, except for some of the toyos made in Japan.

Havent run a GY since the 1st gen MTR, which were garbage.

used to be made in USA, now made in Mehico
Wifes Jeep GC 2015 came with them factory, so when it was time to replace, we chose the same tire... and noticed old tires were made in USA, new tires were not. Needless to say, the next set of tires will not be goodyear.

Their RV tires SUCK

I completely agree with you. It’s like he’s purposely trying to throw away this election. He’s got more important things to worry about and so do we. I’m perfectly fine with Trump supporters boycotting that dipshit company but he needs to stay out of it. If he loses to Mr and Mrs asshat because of shit like this I’m going to be pissed. Mr President please STFU and get to the business of running the country. Let the rest of us worry about Goodyear. Also keep in mind that many of your supporters could be employees.

Also. Your 1A rights stop when you clock into your job. Nobody is being threatened with arrest. Employees are free to wear what they want off the clock.

Michelin Commander 3's have actually been a good choice for my Harley's. The factory Dunlop's wear way to fast. I was only getting 2k out of a rear tire on my old Fat Boy.

If that's a true letter. Good on them. When most coward down in these times, Goodyear is addressing it. They're stating their policy is just as most on here stated they would want it. No support for politics at work. And regardless of how the "racial justice and equity" quote could be taken, stating your pro law enforcement and to end on that point is a strong statement to make at this exact time.

I’ve been looking at the RTs but are they loud?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had the stock Michelin AT2's which were not aggressive at all so the R/T's are louder than those but not by a whole lot. But I've also had Toyo MT's and they are a ton quieter than those. I'm very happy so far.

And this is exactly why Trump needs to stay out of this shit. How much time did the leader of the free world waste trying to get back at a company that in fact did nothing wrong. Keep it up Trump and you’ll be sitting in the back row at the inauguration in January and the rest of us will be living in the western version North Korea for the next eight years.

They way its written is a little odd. They arent denying it. They are saying it didnt come from corporate. Probably a store, which are fuck ups on their own.

If it's true statement, good, I guess. Any politics or advocacy at work is bad. Clock in, do work, go home.

Its also poorly constructed. It sounds like it was written by a 3rd grader.

I wonder how many police departments in the US and even Canada have GY tires on their fleets of vehicles. Hopefully its a lot and they all switch suppliers.
