6.2l Ford is the raptor truck engine
I believe a variation of the 5.0l coyote block.
Overhead cams etc no pushrods

That's kinda want I was thinking, being Raptor and all, thought the alternator looked GM-ish, hence the Ls platform.

Raptor 440 is 400HP/ lots of torque / Good Price/ 5 year warranty. Only negative is the wide foot print/ Tier 4 EPA compliant / Good Fit for family jet boat.

The 6.2MAG is an outdrive mercruiser deal
The 496 is gone.

I can use the mold, was going to buy it but BIG V bottom market is all but dead for new builds.

I can do a 280 anyway you want. Molds would need some time to be tuned up.
Costs depend on power and the finish you want on the boat.

If it were me, id look at a used V bottom. The market is soft and deals are out there. 280-S mid cuddy with a merc racing engine would still be $100k range.
