What do you watch? Guys that are redoing boats. Fiberglass channels, etc..
I stumbled on this guy the other day.
Auto techNick. He is rebuilding a 79 centurion cruiser jet. New stringers, transom, gelcoat, jet engine.
Some of the stuff he does I’m like WTF?
He’s OCD as hell. But pretty intelligent and lays out his projects and admit when he screws up.

That guy did a great job at detailing all the steps of what he’s done. I’m a fan of Finnegan.
I haven’t seen a whole lot about how to stuff. But I haven’t really dove too deep into looking for it.

For events, SoCal Jet Boats has ALOT of videos. Brad would always film the events and make a 5-10 min video about it.
AZJet Boats has a channel called Jet Boats videos that has some cool lower river get togethers. And for NorCal, there is WCRO, they have some good content as well.
Then there is v-drive video.

That dude is talented. And not afraid to do anything even the gelcoat..His boat turned out great.

Yeah Auto techNick is a great watch - has car projects (with his young son) as well. Seems as though a lot of the car related channels I watch are great when they venture in to boat related stuff.

Something about the vintage v-drive and jet boat revival videos that I am drawn to. Maybe memories from when I was very little in Dad's jet boats sitting litterally next to a screaming LS7.

This one was a super fun trip, I took my Cheetah Stilleto (Blue and White Flamed) because I was still building my Sprint. Greg let me behind the wheel of his Spectra back to Avi from Lazy Harry's, that boat was a f&ckin beast! We had a small crew and always had the best times at the events. Wow 12 years goes by fast

To be honest, the SCJB crew in that time was super tight. I made some of the best lifelong friends hanging out, we always had a blast. I’m building my Daytona because boating is now in my core, even though ultimately my goal is to be retired in the Utah mountains. I’m gonna be one of those old fucks that stares at his beautiful hot rod drinking beer.
