For years I’ve eaten microwaved popcorn and always get a stomach ache about half way through . I look at the ingredients and can’t even pronounce them . I see this silicone bowl that you put just popping corn in , right to the little line , pop it for about 2:45

in microwave, melt some butter , salt to taste , Happy days are here again . You would not believe the flavor .

We just use a brown paper bag with regular poping corn, a little oil and into the micro until it just about stops popping. Butter and salt to taste as desired. Quick n easy. Tasty too.

I was gifted one of these about 20+ years ago & loved it.
Finally bit the dust last year & bought another.
Frankilns Original Whirley Pop.
But don't try their butter flavored coconut oil . . . you'll be ruined.

I’m gonna try that. We’re still primitive and throw some vegetables oil and Orville Redenbacher in a pan on high heat and done in 5 minutes. I like the half cooked kernels the best. My wife calls them Old Maids.

I use a cast aluminum pot. I pop corn at least twice a week.
Unless the dude on the corner has his kettle corn and cheese popcorn

Whatever you do….don’t buy one of these popcorn machines from Amazon or you’ll end up living on pop corn until you throw it away….

This in a stainless pan. Get the oil shimmering and then throw the corn it.

I think what ruins popcorn is letting it sit in cold oil while it heats up? Just be ready with the lid as soon as you throw it in.

We have always used a hot air popper.

Never liked microwave popcorn

I got my dad one of those microwave things, like the one pictured at the bottom of the first post.

They don't work that well, i ended up getting him a hot air popper and it works way faster and doesn't overcook the corn.

Jolly Time was hull less and popped up robust with lots of flavor.
Long since replaced by a hybrid that is neither.
Worst on the market now is Redenbachers.

Exception is the Popcorn cart in DCA is fresh popped and they make the kettle corn fresh at the spot too.
Really good.
I have no clue why, I never ask but the girl always gives me mine for free saying "It's on the mouse."

My wife is the popcorn master and this is what she uses exclusively, she's been using Orville products for the last 20 years and swears by them. I'm not complaining one bit.
