This might be a good time to show all photos. We were delayed by snow and rain.
At my house in Las Vegas it is 53’ long with the wet deck. FYI; I live in the southwest part of the valley on a half acre lot very close to Cimarron and Wigwam streets so directly west of me are the mountains including the red rock reserve.
Grotto is about 26’ wide, hidden entrance in left side, 20’ bar with 4 stools in pool, 3 person Bench in grotto so folks can view a pool volleyball game, 4X4. Spa is to the right side in grotto. Ceiling of grotto has 200 fiber optic strands.
In top is a 6’ wide waterfall that should flows up to 350 gallons per minute if I am brave enough! All Pentair equipment.
To right side of grotto is slide. All drains are hidden.
On Tuesday the contractor, Nationwide Pool Design, will nail it with shotcrete for 2 days. Then 2/3 weeks of plaster and grotto detail work.
The plaster has quartz in a custom mix to Closely as possible represent the colors of the mountains just over the top of the grotto. A little bit of extra red and maroon crystals were added in this custom mix that will be inserted in a few sections to match the red rock over my back wall.
The backdrop for this is the edge of the Ref Rock mountains, so the grotto colors will match this along with top of grotto plaster design.
And on top will be a 150K btu electrically ignited 5 foot flamethrower burner. Sort of like the Mirage Resort.
