Not even sure if Dave will allow this, but here goes.
I'm wanting to trade for a flatbottom or daycruiser, V-drive... Something leaning towards the bench-seat vintage flatty era, as opposed to the radical two-seater blast beast. I already have a fast enough Hallet Vector, but like I said, I'm wanting a V-drive for othr fun. This is a very cool 56 Ford F100 on a early 70's Chevy C30 1-ton. Awesome bike hauler, hot rod tow vehicle, whatever. The wife and I use it for getting ice cream or cruising to Ethels (Bako place). It has a 60-year paintjob and the rust is all true surface patina. Very solid truck. Honestly, it's not everyone's taste, but I really like the truck. I'd just like a flatty better. I just built the flatbed and set it up for hauling some vintage motorcycles I have. 350 Chevy with a T-400 automatic and a 14-bolt Corporate. Eagle aluminum dualies with decent tires. It runs bitchin. New battery, carb, all new / redone wiring. It runs 180 degrees. Clean title and currentlky non-opped, even though I drive it weekly.... (ya, I know).
Would be cool to leave in Havi for a tow vehicle, and being a 1-ton, it can haul pretty much anything. It's chopped 5" in the rear and narrowed in the front to fit the body. It's fun. I'm ready to trade it away for the right deal. Currently for sale for 9-ish grand.
Feel free to hit me up with texts / questions / offers / pros / cons/ etc. The truck's in Bakersfield.
