This started about two weeks ago but now all over the grass. At first I thought it might be a dog or animal but they are small scoops of grass taken out. A dog would leave some scrape type marks also. Any suggestions?

My yard is similar but we know it’s squirrels.

It’s crows looking for grubs.... @dezertrider had the same issue and went back and looked at his security cameras and caught them. The benefits of having a dynamic air services connected home awareness system is that you can see what’s going on with your home at all times. (Shameless plug) [emoji6]

Wife thinks its a raccoon so she got down our trap. She said she wanted to use tuna for bait but that we were out out of tuna at home, to which I told her she was never out of tuna. Wonder if my late plate will be made tonight for me when I get home.
Marshmallows. What are you going to do if you trap one?

Here in Kansas that would be the result of armadillos. I have never seen a raccoon cause that type of damage.

Racoon is digging for grubs

Noticed this in our neighbors yards this week. My wife saw a raccoon on our back fence just the other day as well. It’s been a few years since we’ve seen them but obviously still around.

For the last four weeks the crows have been destroying my lawn. Now I know to treat my lawn every month with grub killer

A family of racoons did the samething to my yard looking for grubs. Treat for grubs and put an animal repellent down and hope for the best.

The skunks do that around our house.

I had a neighbor that was putting peanuts out for the squirrels and those little bastards screwed up everyone's lawns on the street including mine and it looked like what is happening to yours. Needless to say a few of us started trapping and shooting the squirrels and we were able to thin them out pretty decently and we got her to stop feeding the damn things.

Skunks or raccoons looking for worms and bugs.
We get both. You definitely know when the skunk wants the territory though.
The raccoons just pulled up new sod I had put down and the skunks seem to like the older grass and flower beds.

I am going to guess coyote, better stock up on bb guns.
I didn't know they would dig like that.
We have a new pack of 4 coyote pups running our neighborhood at night now. coyote shit on the street and sidewalks, but never thought it could be them.

Big 5 time need some pellets

No way a coyote would have fit in that trap. Don't smell the skunk urine either. Going with the Racoon. I will let everyone know in the AM

It's a fucking Skunk! By the fact that it is digging, I assume that it is finding stuff to eat? Ergo, it keeps digging?

Saw 4 Coons this morning hammering away at the yard across the street. Big year for June bugs which in turn into grubs... Mother F-ers

Cover the trap with a burlap sack and use anchovies. I have caught one with no sack and had to make a custom garbage bag suit to not get sprayed. Neighbor saw it trapped so could not shoot it.

I’m dealing with the same bullshit! Just had new sod laid in August and been fighting this crap! Notices tons of white moths when I would pull in at night so I treated with the same stuff shown above. It worked, but had dead spots all over. Woke up this morning and a pile of chunks of grass I. Middle of yard! Shit is pissing me off!!!!

I had little mice destroy my back yard. Took about 3 weeks of baiting every night to kill all of them. Also treated the grass for bugs too.

Besides the bug treatment I also was told sprinkle crushed red pepper in the lawn. Soak it in with water. They don’t like the taste.

Tried to be nice by trapping first but this crew is too smart. Switched to the motion cameras and the Remington.
Fuckers have torn the shit out of my yard.
One down two to go!

Fucker pulled a no show. I wonder if they like rat poison (the little pellets or the green squares)?
