Man I deal with that shit all the time. My wife paddleboards a lot in the winter and hits the beach a lot all year. She says she will clean it and she may get to it at some point, but by then I can't stand it and do it. This was a BIG reason I got rid of the Lexus and bought a Tacoma.

Most are ashphalt and completely deteriorated . . . between the black scum, sliime, fish guts, trash, and lord knows what else . . . you'd have a melt down.
Just the walk from the truck to the boat leaves the bottom of your flip flops llike they're black scum paint brushes !
When it's REALLY bad, i toss them in the splashwell for the day and go barefoot in the boat.
