I have a lifted 01 Chevy 4WD extra cab I use to Commute to work. its got 238k miles on the original motor. Truck has been rode hard and put away wet!! Replaced the tranny about 30k miles ago and have replaced nearly everything else. Thing rides a bit rough (feels like the bodies going to fall off the frame (it's a salvaged title) but I jut keep it serviced and it keeps on keepin on!! Pretty impressive actually.

So what you got for high miles??

366k is crazy!!

I heard Subaru will take your old Subaru and give you a new one if you turn a million miles. Heard only a couple ever have.

My Dad has 94 chevy extra cab 1/2 ton with 400k. Original motor and trans. Still looks like it did a month after he bought it brand new. He had it lowered on 15" centerlines, notched and bagged all the way around :D That was the shit in those days.

He just drove it to the river and back towing. He could have any truck he wants but he refuses to get rid of it. He's the 55 stay alive guy though. Babies the shit outta that truck.

I have a 2000 C2500 crew cab short bed (old body style) with 290,000 miles. original motor, trans, front suspension, never been aligned, runs great, rides smooth, tires wear even, best truck i have ever owned. I put a torque converter in at 150,000, two water pumps, 3 fuel pumps, 1 radiator, changed intake gaskets and last summer changed injectors (first time anyone else ever worked on the truck). finish is great looks nice door lock are tempermental, they work great when it's cold?

The old Ranger's Odometer stopped working at 105,000 a good 5 years ago. Only changed the brakes, clutch and a clutch master cylinder twice, What idiots put the master cylinder in the bell housing so I can't change it myself ? Idiots.... Built Ford Tough !!!

Slide the trans back, put new master in, then reinstall trans. Not that hard. Did it a couple times on my old Ranger.

220,619 on the wifes '96 Regal.
It feels tired, but still starts, stops and the AC and heat work great.
We'll junk it when something major pukes.

Ive got 160k on a 1999 SS camaro use it daily for work, I was thinking I was gonna have to get rid of it soon. Reading the numbers in this post I might have to rethink that.

My father just traded in a 1996 BMW 740il with 263K miles. Was still in good shape.

2007 F-150 with 307K on it. Original motor, new trans a few months ago. Other than brakes, tires and services nothing else replaced.

I just rolled 1800 miles so far this week! Will probably go 2K miles by the end of the week as I have to drive to San Diego today and tomorrow.

So who has the highest miles in the least amount of time (newest vehicle)?:D:thumbsup

we took my wife's 1998 ford E 350 van with the first year V10 to 250K on the original engine and trans. was still running decent when we sold it. it was her daily driver with 5 kids in tow, so we decided that it was time - it did start to have some weird electrical issues. only replaced the radiator and a/c compressor and then the usual brakes/tires. also had a 3" lift on the front with 33" mudders. I got her a new E 350 with the 5.4 V8. it runs nice and quiet....smooth. but her V10 got better mileage!

I had 230K on my 93 full size Blazer when it drove off to another owner. Original engine and transmission/T-case. Wish I hadn't sold it.

My father bought 2 of these in 1979, one for him and one for my mother, moms was an 80. He passed in 2003, we sold it the 1979 in 2007, nearly 400k on original motor and trans. Car was showroom, he paid if memory serves $40K for both, I sold the 1979 for $13500.00. The 1980 I drove for awhile and sold it in 2000 for $10K. Great motors probably MBZ's best of all time.

05 Focus. 66K miles. Runs perfect.;)

Shocking!! LOL

Son has a 86 4Runner out back with 378k (22RE) that blew a head gasket last summer. It needs paint, but is otherwise cherry and it must have every option available in 85, some I have never seen, power antenna, power rear window, power front windows, power locks, funky "inclinometer" gauge pack on dash, etc...and they all still work, even the rear window defogger. Even still has the inner cover for the factory sunroof.

I am DD'ing a 96 Tacoma with the 2.7 4 banger that has 308k on it, runs great, a/c needs work.
Dang Toyotas do seem to run.

We have my dads old suburban. It's a 1984 2500 and it has 750k on it. We haven't drove it in a few years but we did start it over a year ago just for the hell of it.
We used it for pulling the boat and work. He put air shocks on it and would load 20 sacks of cement for work.

07 tahoe, 200k miles... serviced regularly, replaced the brake pads once and thats it.
havasu to oc and back, not much towing, cruz control at 80. Its retired now, getting some much needed rest as I picked up a new kia (I call it the "rally car") as a daily driver and commuter. :D

91 Toyota PU, my shop truck. 22RE with 440k on it. Finally had to put a timing chain in it at 400k. One of the million mile motors :D Other than that it's never been apart.

Brakes sure have gotten a lot better, at least on Chevy trucks! My 2001 2500 HD crew cab Chevy has 165k miles with original brakes. I remember having to put brakes on every 20k to 30k miles (especially when the ex-wife drove the car...throttle to brake, throttle to brake, full throttle right up to the light then slam on the brakes, never heard of "coasting" a little bit). Any way, Chevy truck brakes seem to last forever, even with towing.

Nice :thumbsup

My Pops has a 1930 Model A Coupe that still has the original paint. It's flaking off pretty bad, but not a dent in the car.

My 2001 2500 HD has 193,000 and still has the original brakes. And I live in the mountains and do a lot of towing. No pedal pulse or anything.

My 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser had 565,000 on it according to the widow seller who was original owner. Who knows since the odometer doesn't go that high but I know she was pretty wore out. Put all new (rebuilt) Toyota running gear in it last year so she should be good for another half million.
