Deputies with the Criminal Interdiction Team of Central Oklahoma (CITCO)this week arrested two people for trafficking 47.5 pounds of uncut cocaine. David Gutierrez and Diana Delgado, both of California, were stopped on I-40 Tuesday for various traffic violations. The cocaine was found in suitcases in Delgado's rental car after she agreed to a search of the vehicle. "Often, cocaine is cut with fentanyl before it is sold", Sheriff Tommie Johnson said, "There's no telling how many lives our deputies saved by getting this poison off the streets." CITCO is a cooperative effort between the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
