I have been extrememly busy at work for the past 10 days. 12-14 hour work days for 10 days straight plus my 2 1/2-4 hour commute as well. The alarm rang at 4 am like it always does M-F and when I got up this morning I was dead dog tired, I mean I didn't have the energy to pee.

So I stumbled into the master bathroom, turned on the dim lights, and switched on the little ghetto blaster on the counter. After some kind of commercial gibberish Van Halen came on. To my listening pleasure it was Sammy singing Black and Blue. This is in my top 10 of songs that just plain old kick ass, and about 30 seconds in the heart started pumping, the blood started flowing, and my attitude started to change. I left the house feeling pretty good, and made decent time to work.

There are other songs that do that for me, but rather than make my list, what song or songs gets you up in the morning and has you kicking ass by the time you hit the front door?

BTW, good morning everyone!

When I was 15 I was working with My Dad and on the way to work he said Van Halen - Judgement day was his favorite. Especially the first Part " It's my life, get off my a$$, get out of my face....." For Me, easy rolling morning a little 311 - all mixed up. Stressfull morning - something heavy like Sevendust.

If I hear a song playing it means the wife's alarm went off, and I woke up.
My focking back has been going off for 2 weeks, so waking up is the start of another round.

Do you think it would really matter if your kid was watching that vs say CNN?

RD

Sid buys us about 30 minutes of happy dancing toddler in the morning while we get ready for the day, CNN not so much. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you might be in for a couple (read that as a lot) of suprises when little RD'S start running around.:rotflmao:

Wow, old thread, start it off again.

I can't play any music that early in the house but I slept like shit on Sunday night, maybe 4hrs. Anyway I got in my car at 5:30am and AC/DC Thunderstruck was just starting and by the time the song was over I was awake and the blood was pumping🤘

It’s not a song, more like constant beeps from my phone until I either snooze or silence it.
At work it’s either the tones or the FF grinding the coffee.

And then Country Radio while driving.

In the summer mornings before waterskiing/barefooting with my buddies I used to blast AC/DC "For those About to Rock". Got us pumped up!
