I have been extrememly busy at work for the past 10 days. 12-14 hour work days for 10 days straight plus my 2 1/2-4 hour commute as well. The alarm rang at 4 am like it always does M-F and when I got up this morning I was dead dog tired, I mean I didn't have the energy to pee.
So I stumbled into the master bathroom, turned on the dim lights, and switched on the little ghetto blaster on the counter. After some kind of commercial gibberish Van Halen came on. To my listening pleasure it was Sammy singing Black and Blue. This is in my top 10 of songs that just plain old kick ass, and about 30 seconds in the heart started pumping, the blood started flowing, and my attitude started to change. I left the house feeling pretty good, and made decent time to work.
There are other songs that do that for me, but rather than make my list, what song or songs gets you up in the morning and has you kicking ass by the time you hit the front door?
BTW, good morning everyone!
