That is awesome. I bet it goes for big bucks.

I restored an H2 some years back. Built motor with chromed Purple Haze chambers. Even though a 500, it was a handful. Brakes and steering were a bit dicey.

I’ve ridden a couple of those. Ridiculous. Watch my neighbor with his built 750 do a burnout in front of the house when the thing hooked up, and left him laying in the street.
Want to turn heads at the rock store? Roll by there on a four-cylinder two-stroke at about 4000 RPM, with each cylinder not quite sure what it’s gonna do. Lol.

I actually have done this in 2008 on the 1985 RD500 I had purchased/restored. That bike turned a lot of heads...I was a dumb ass for selling it...

I owned a few H1's they were not fast enough so I bought 72 H2 had George Roach ported it/with 34mm carbs and spec 2 pipes I remember shredding my stock chain I had to buy new sprockets and a larger chain that bike was fast. That 4cilinder H1 must fly.

I borrowed it for a reunion ride. I gave it back when a truck coming the other way on mulhuland dumped a bunch of shit in the road in front of me and all I could think about was crashing an irreplaceable bike.

For commuting. Me and a friend drag races the H2, he held nhra D class record for a while at 11.97 at Lions. Fun times.
