Its Inland Auto and Boat...

Which means it was most likely bought at an Auction....

A while back I went to look at a offshore fishing catamaran they had priced at a decent deal...

UNTIL I SAW IT...
It had obviously sunk... the outboards that where on it, had sunk... heavily saltwater corroded, and when I brought this to their attention, they just looked at me....

I pushed the issue stating there is no way this boat is worth $$$ when it most likely needs two new outboards... Twin 250's.... Again, stupid look on there face.., All new wiring,,, still no response... electronics.... just stood there.

Be very carefully with them... inspect the crap out of it... its probably has a few hidden gremlins...

In this Market, people are asking 49k for 21’ Jets its seems like! Lol. Even with the two small blocks, seems like a lotta boat for the money.

Look closely at the motors, looks like salt and rust in lots of places.( like around the hoses) it also looks like some pitting and rattle can rebuilds on the drives. Might just be a crappy pic, but that is what it looks like to me when I zoom in

Those small blocks cost more than the HO's at the time! ;)

That seems like a smoking deal. Even if you had to repower later.

Inland had a 32 (A LONG LONG TIME AGO) that had filled up with water and had quite a bit of damage to the interior of it.. I'm not sure if it sank or ?? I'm not sure if this is the boat or not, but literally everything should have been replaced in the boat.. The upside is it was cheap.

The 32's are harder to sell because the die hard Schiada guys are all after the 21's and 24's.. and the rest of the world doesn't know what a 32 Schiada is.. LOL.

That said if I had the coin I'd probably buy this and go through it! That's a ton of boat for the $$.. but I'd expect it to be 75-100K to make it a "Schiada" again.

I was going to buy it years ago. There is a thread on it here somewhere. It was sunk 75% and spent some time under water.I bid $20k and they wanted $28k. Time went on they offered it to me for $17k? I turned it down and pretty sure Inland bought it, I am surprised they had it so long. I am sure they used it for themselves.

Gotta love how they are selling a sunk boat with zero disclosure in the ad. Love the power of RDP. We seem to know the facts of most any west coast boats!

It's a Salt boat and being sold by inland boat so fuck that.

I went to pick up a boat from that place to tow out to Havasu, took one look at it and passed.

According to Dave's comments in post #14 [2012] above, that the interior had water stains, even mold. In the newly posted link, the pictures don't show any signs of water damage. Who knows what has been done to the boat since. I'd take a look at it in person, before making a statement on its condition. I've seen boats that sunk and brought back to their former glory. BTW, how much is a blank 21 RC hull ;)? We're still talking Schiada here, don't we? Dave, go for it. You have two Scorpions in the Hallett, just change them over. You could always sell the Hallett with the Schiada's Scorps if they run OK:) .

Did it look just like it does in the ad when they offered it to you for 17k?

that is very odd.

I think rd was correct in that it will take 100k to get back up to snuff. Just in that I can see, it needs the drives and motors pulled and gone thru. I would guess, by the time that is done, new belts/ hoses you will be in it 25k, if nothing else is wrong you might have a deal at 75k, but I would not be shocked to find out every thing is toast/ needs rebuild.

There's a possibility the left hand prop was damaged and they thrown the spare right hand prop on.;)
Wouldn't stop me buying the boat if the rest checks out good in person, negotiate a left hand prop in the deal:p. Jeeeze, you people like to rip things apart before seeing it in person.

The spare tire doesn’t look very dependable...

Why is the trailer 11 years older than the boat?

Looks the same based off the interior.
The hull itself was clean, the motors and electrical who knows and I figured I would have to have all that redone and new interior. Not sure what they have done to it in the last 5 years but I doubt it has just been sitting. Boat market is way stronger now.
